John Higgins(b.1949) is a British comic book writer, artist and colorist. He provided cover art for 5 issues of theMarvel UKTransformersseries as well as theTransformers Annual 1985.

Like many of his contemporaries at Marvel UK, Higgins worked on2000 ADprior to his small stint with the Transformers. Indeed, he still does contribute to that venerable magazine.

Notable post-Transformers work include being the colorist for bothWatchmenandBatman: The Killing Jokeby Alan Moore.

He also inked one issue ofDeath's Head's own comic series, yes?
