- Sixliner is anAutobotMicromastercombinerfrom theReturn of Convoyportion of theGeneration 1continuity family.
Sixliner(シックスライナーShikkusurainā) is the combined form of theLiner Team(ライナーチームRainā Chīmu) and the youngerbrotherofSixtrain.Though still considered a rookie, he's been thrust into positions of great importance among the Autobots; both being thede factoleader of the Micromasters based onEarthin the early 1980s (beforeOptimus Prime,Megatron,and their forces would awaken from their crash-induced slumber), and as a member of the eliteBattlestarsgroup.
His component robots are:
- D-Go,the steam engine and team leader
- Alan,the TGV Express train
- Joe,the Super Hitachi train
- Leaf,the 200 Series bullet train
- Night,the EF66 "Blue" train

Super Robot Lifeform Transformerstoyline,Sixliner is a super robot composed of six Micromaster trains:Alan(orange TGV Express train),D-Go(black diesel engine),Joe(off-white Super Hitachi train),Leaf(white & green Tohoku bullet train),Night(blue EF66 "Blue" train), andSpark(white & blue Tokaido 100 line bullet train). The combined mode is held together with various pieces of combinerkibble,which form three weapons/vehicles when the team is separated: theGiga-Techvoltcannon, theGripperprobe, and theWingardbooster.
- As the first of this kind of Micromaster combiner, he has limited compatibility with the latter six-team combiners, really only able to swap out arm and "back" components with the "kibble-jet" types thanks to the arms'5 mm postconnections and the standard Micromaster footpeg attachment for the backs.
- Sixliner was only sold as a complete box set.

- In 2002, the entire Sixliner team was re-released as the first wave ofThe Transformers: Micromaster,in individual boxes with a number visible to show which mold was inside each box. For this release, the stickers were removed and all of their deco is done viapaint applications;while each one lost a few pieces of deco, in general the entire team's train-mode decos were rather extensively expanded.
- Sixliner could only be assembled by buying all six components individually, he was never offered as a complete set.
- The Liner Team is the only wave ofMicromasterto not have any form of "chase" variant.
