Marty Isenberg(bornJuly 30,1963) is an American television writer responsible for co-story editingBeast MachinesalongsideBob Skirand story editingTransformers Animated.When he joined theAnimatedproduction staff his first task was to revise theproduction bible.Later on, he would pen the original-storyAnimatedcomic series forIDW.It was his goal to makeAnimated"the most fun Transformers series ever". Marty has also dabbled with voice acting, providing the voice ofAnimatedOptimus Primefor the series' test-track to get early animation beforeDavid Kayewas cast for the role.

He has also contributed a significant amount of work forCartoon Networkand other properties. His highest profile non-Transformers work has been as a writer for the 2003 revival ofTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.Other works include such comic-to-cartoon properties asBatmanthe Animated Series,Spider-Man,X-Men,andSam & Max: Freelance Police!,as well episodes fromGodzilla:The Series,usually in partnership with Bob Skir. From 2010 he started to create shows forThe Hub,starting with theAnimated-feelingG.I. Joe:Renegades.
