Marty Isenberg(bornJuly 30,1963) is an American television writer responsible for co-story editingBeast MachinesalongsideBob Skirand story editingTransformers Animated.When he joined theAnimatedproduction staff his first task was to revise theproduction bible.Later on, he would pen the original-storyAnimatedcomic series forIDW.It was his goal to makeAnimated"the most fun Transformers series ever". Rock on, Marty.

Marty has also dabbled with voice acting, providing the voice ofAnimatedOptimus Primefor the series' test-track to get early animation beforeDavid Kayewas cast for the role.

He has also contributed a significant amount of work forCartoon Networkand other properties. His highest profile non-Transformers work has been as a writer for the 2003 revival ofTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.Other works include such comic-to-cartoon properties asBatmanthe Animated Series,Spider-Man,X-Men,andSam & Max: Freelance Police!,as well episodes fromGodzilla:The Series,usually in partnership with Bob Skir. From 2010 he started to create shows forThe Hub,starting with theAnimated-feelingG.I. Joe:Renegades.
