Michel Vigné(b.August 10,1956) is a French actor specialized in dubbing.
He is the regular French voice of Mickey Rourke, Michael Wincott andRon Perlman,and one of the voices of Michael Madsen, Chow Yun-fat, Nick Nolte and Patrick Swayze. He also dubbed Sylvester Stallone inLock Up,John Travolta inPulp Fiction,Sauron inThe Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ringand Unkar Plutt inStar Wars:Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
Among his many roles in animation are Alex Murphy / RoboCop inRoboCop: The Animated Series,Rod Ross inDeath Note,Savage Opress inStar Wars: The Clone Wars,Skipper in thePlanesfilms, the Watcher inWhat If...?and Green Lantern in various animated films and series.
Regarding video games, he dubbed the narrator inTomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness,Branden inBatman: Arkham Origins,Crach an Craite inThe Witcher 3and he reprised his role of Unkar Plutt for theLego Star Warsgames and his role of Green Lantern in theInjusticegames.
OnJuly 28,2024,he announces that he ends his career in voice acting, annoyed by the current working conditions in the realm of dubbing.[1]

- In the French dub ofBeast Wars,Michel Vigné gave Starscream a very foppish accent, in addition to the very formal language he uses. That way of speaking is pretty distant from both the original version and thetwovoiceshe had in the French dub of the original cartoon. However, that is strangely pleasant to hear.
- Actually, he will soon after give that exact same voice to Inferno for the rest of the show, since he takes over the role just after thePossessionepisode.
- He briefly dubbedGrimlockfor the cameo ofWar of the Dinobotsin the 1994 filmLéon: The Professional,in which Mathilda tries to watchThe Transformerson TV.
- In 2023, when reminded about his role of Dinobot inBeast Wars,Michel Vigné said that he remembers the dubbing of the series as a great memory, working together with friends and having a lot of fun.[2]
