Odysseus undertook a very long trip from the city ofTroyall the way back to Ithaca. One could think of it as a sort of epic voyage, or perhaps an odyssey. He lived with his wife and child for a time, but the wanderlust he'd developed along the way meant that he eventually set sail for more adventures. Odysseus eventually met up withCalypso,a nymph who granted him immortality. The duo sailed the world for a while until they stumbled across an alien civilization located on what was later known asEaster Island.They hitched a ride off of Earth and into the cosmos.

Centuries later, Odysseus was adventuring on the planetVarus VI.There, he foundSpacewarpunder attack by a some steam-powered automatons.
