When the OG World's timeline began to drift, theAlternity"fixed" it, resulting in CS World. In CS World,Optimus Prime's corpse was vaporized in aQuintessonplot. Thus because Optimus's essence was more firmly incorporated into theMatrix of Leadership,Scourgewas able to defeatHot Rodand retain possession of the Matrix, thereafter becoming undisputed leader of the Decepticons. Over the centuries, the influence of the Matrix inspired Scourge to broker a peace deal between the Autobots and Decepticons, and the two factions united into a single force whenUnicronreturned. In the ensuing battle, Unicron tried to blast Scourge, but the Matrix shielded him, allowing him to survive by being shunted intotranswarp space.Rhinoxwould find and pluck him out of unspace intoAxiom Nexus,where Scourge became a member of theConvoy.Rook - Axiom Nexus News, 2016/02/07
