TheRevengewas given to Galvatron by Unicron shortly after the former was reformatted from the broken body ofMegatron.TheRevengeferried Galvatron back toCybertron,where he seized the reins ofDecepticoncommand from the treacherousStarscream.After the Decepticons attackedAutobot CityonEarthfor the second time, theRevengepursued two fleeing Autobot shuttles commanded byUltra MagnusandKup,successfully forcing one shuttle to crash ona strange, twisted worldand apparently destroying Magnus's shuttle.

In the year2007,theRevengewas used during Galvatron's attack on Autobot City after the end of theshort-lived trucebetween the two factions. After the key to thePlasma Energy Chamberwas secured, the Decepticons made their getaway in theRevenge.The Rebirth, Part 1After the devastating attack on Cybertron, theRevengewas used by Scourge, Cyclonus, and a squad of Decepticons to pursue some wayward Autobots to the planetNebulos.While parked there, it was destroyed by the newly created AutobotHeadmasters,who then towed the completely undamaged ship back to the Nebulan rebel's base.The Rebirth, Part 2

- Behold, Galvatron! Unicron Companion Pack(2022)
- In honor of the 35th anniversary ofThe Transformers: The Movie,theRevengewas included as part of the "Unicron Companion Pack" meant to serve as an extra accessory for the giganticWar for Cybertron TrilogyUnicronfigure. TheRevengewas made of painted rubbery plastic and could peg onto the small clear display stand that came with Unicron.
- The Unicron Companion Pack was included with"Behold, Galvatron!"—another redeco of theKingdomLeader figure, now done in translucent purple. That figure includes its own translucent purple versions of theRevengeblasters shown above, meaning there werethree of the same shipincluded in this set, but only one that could fit onto the intended ship stand. This set wasexclusivelyavailable throughHasbro Pulse.
Notes
- The ship is never given a name in the show, but Galvatron does refer to it as "the mothership" at the start of "The Rebirth, Part 1"episode. The name comes fromTransformers: The Complete Ark.
- We do not actually see the ship created; it slips out of an opening near the equatorial section of Unicron.
- It is consistent with other Decepticon ships in the Generation 1 cartoon, in that it is completely purple and has a purple afterburner.
- Among its arsenal are torpedoes, multiple cannons (presumably lasers), andmoleculon missiles.
- Although theRevengeis drawn with its normal model during the attack on Autobot City and its subsequent sojourn to Cybertron in the first part of "The Rebirth", it looks entirely different once it lands on Nebulos. It's possible Cyclonus and friends used someotherDecepticon ship to make the trip, but theRevengeis never seen again after this ship's destruction...
- According toFloro Dery,the starship was originally intended to be oriented upside-down. Good thing there's no up in space!
