Synopsis
AsDeathsaurusandLiokaiserplunderEarth's energy,Victory Saber,LasterandBraverarrive to meet their challenge.
Elsewhere,Blackercatches up withSolonandTigerbreast, taking the small boy hostage. Blacker and Solon have a heart-to-heart and Solon explains that his parents were killed in the Transformer War and he was badly injured. Deathsaurus took him in, saved his life by turning him into a cyborg and adopted him as his son. Solon refuses to believe that he ishumananymore due to his mechanical body. Blacker explains to him that there's more to being human than having flesh and that his homeworld, the Earth, is in dire need of help fromallits children. Blacker then tosses Solon a set of armor (modeled after himself, naturally) and speeds off to help Victory Saber. Solon reflects on what he's just been told.
On the battlefield, theDecepticonshave theAutobotsat their mercy and theVictoriesare helpless to do anything about it (surprise surprise). Just then, Blacker arrives and combines with theBrainmastersto formRoad Caesar.Road Caesar helps Victory Saber to his feet, but the fight still looks hopeless.
Suddenly, a small laser blast strikes Deathsaurus on the cheek. He looks down to discover Solon has switched sides!Pattyis pleased as punch and declares that the Victories can at last perform the "Five Stars of Victory" attack.Jantransfers his courage intoStar Saber,Shūtatransfers his cunning into Braver,Cabtransfers his skill into Laster, Solon transfers his power into Blacker and Patty transfers her love intoVictory Leo.With that accomplished, they shout "Let's seigō!" and power-up Victory Saber's and Road Caesar's swords into the Victory Calibur.
The attack sends the Decepticons running back to theSpace Fortress, where Deathsaurus vows the final confrontation will take place.
With the threat momentarily over, Jan officially welcomes Solon into the Victories. Solon says he'll only join under one condition: if he gets to have Patty ashisbig sister, too. Patty is embarrassed, Jan is infuriated, and everybody else decides the whole thing is hilarious.

Notes
- Solonreceived his injuries and went on the lam withTigerbreastat the end of "Victory Saber Is Strong!".
- Blackerwas disappointed that none of theVictorieswere wearing any armor modeled after himself in "Star of Friendship, Jan and Star Saber!",which may be why he happened to have a set of unused Blacker-style armor on hand.
- Pattyseems tojust knowabout the "Five Stars of Victory" attack and all the members of theVictoriesseem tojust knowhow to perform it. Even the new guy. Odd.
- The phrase "Let's seigō!" is a pun that's rather difficult to fully realize into English. "Let's" is spoken in English, while "seigō" ( chỉnh hợp ) means "coordinate (an attack)". However, it happens tosound likethe English words "Say go". So they're saying both "Let's coordinate!" and "Let's say go!" at the same time.
- Unless you count that time they mopped the base in "Victory Saber Is Strong!",this is the only time the Victories have ever done anything of merit in the entire series.
- AlthoughVictory Leois mentioned, he is never shown separated fromVictory Saberduring the entirety of the issue. On the page where the Victories are shown transferring their abilities into their respectiveAutobots,Victory Leo is the only one not seen.
- TheSpace FortresswhichDeathsaurusspeaks of will be seen in the next issue, "The Grand Victory War".
