Skullcruncher participated in the final battle of theGreat War.WarzoneFifteen years later, he fell underMandroid's control, where he menacedMo,Robby,andAlex Maltoat Mandroid's lab, smashing through a wall and using his crocodile mode to shake the Maltos' car around. Interrupted byTwitch,he threw the car, which was caught byThrash.Skullcruncher fired on Thrash, knocking him away. While Twitch continued to fire on him, Thrash knocked him over with his newly acquired alternate mode. Back on his feet, he fired at the fleeing Mo and Thrash while Twitch and Robbie continued their barrage. Eventually, Skullcruncher and the other enthralled Decepticons were freed from Mandroid's control and apprehended.Secret Legacy, Part 2He was subsequently incarcerated in a secret Decepticon holding facility beneathG.H.O.S.T.headquarters.Classified

WhenHashtag's Internet connection to the G.H.O.S.T. facility inadvertently took the detention blocks' anti-energon fields offline, Skullcruncher was among the prisoners set free. Hashtag, Twitch, andBumblebeefound him curled up in his open cell while they were looking for a way out of the facility. Skullcruncher did not attempt to attack them, but became enraged upon spotting guards wearing the G.H.O.S.T. insignia. Skullcruncher plowed through the guards as well asSoundwaveas he ran through the hallway and smashed through the wall, with Bumblebee and the Terrans following behind. Outside, Skullcruncher rose up behind Bumblebee while raising his sword before G.H.O.S.T. agents shot him and took him back into custody.Hashtag: Oops

A year later, Skullcruncher was one of several Decepticons dispached to the naval yard to intercept theAutobots' attempts to recover moreEmbershards,tussling with Optimus Prime. The encounter turned out to be a diversion, and they returned to base.AftermathSkullcruncher was present whenStarscreammade a grand speech to the Decepticons about his plans to make Earth into "New Cybertron" with theEmberstone.When the Autobots andTerransattacked, he took part in the ensuing battle. When Starscream used the Emberstone to raiseTerratronus,a blow from the massiveTitandestroyed the cliff he and the other Decepticons were observing the battle from. Reasoning that Starscream had turned against them all, he then followedShockwave's attempt to flee, before being stopped cold by theChaos Domethe Terrans and Maltos created to contain the rampaging Titan.Witwicky, Part 2

Skullcruncher was smashing random cars in the center of Witwicky when Bumblebee andBreakdownblasted him into a wall. He recovered and engaged the two bots again, but when he charged on Mo and Thrash, Breakdown and Bee grabbed him and sent him flying into the distance. He and Soundwave later backed up Shockwave to confront Bee and the Maltos as they were leaving the dome, leading to Bee challenging Breakdown to a winner-takes-all race and winning, which left the Cons trapped where they were.The Need for ReadAfterProwl's ship crashed within the Chaos Dome, Skullcruncher and the other Cons turned out to claim it, only to be driven off by the ship's defenses. Their second attempt was more successful, and following a protracted battle with Optimus and Prowl, the Decepticons boarded the ship before launching into space.No Soldier Left Behind

Part of the fifth wave ofEarthSpark"1-Step Flip Changers", Skullcruncher is a simple toy that converts from robot to crocodile and vice versa in a single step. His alt mode can be arrived at much faster by letting him fall backwards onto a solid surface.

Unlike previous One Step Changers, Skullcruncher lacks any robot mode articulation.
