- T-Wrecks is aMaximalDinobotfrom theBeast Eraportion of theGeneration 1 continuity family.
Former attack specialistT-Wreckswas stationed in sector 17 of theMirtonian constellation,but returned toCybertronjust in time to be reformatted by theOracle,and become leader of the new Dinobots. He is a staunch defender of theMaximalcause, and his prowess on the battlefield has led his troops to nickname him "Big Rex".[1]

The Dinobots were sent to the planetArkusby the Oracle in order to awaken the "sleeping giant" for a mysterious purpose.DepartureHowever, the mission was a fool's errand, arranged by theQuintessons,and designed to destroy the Dinobots. The planet held prisoner one of their most dangerous creations, the energy-drainingTrans-Organiccreature known as theDweller.Betrayal
T-Wrecks,Triceradon,Terranotron,andDinotronsurvived their encounter with the Dweller and managed to get off-planet. After making their way toSpaceport CSSB-16,Disclosurethey traded in their Autobot shuttle for "meaner" and "more conspicuous" transportation. They found a stowaway aboard their new ship:Reptron,who they recruited to their merry band.The Wreckers: Finale Part 1Shortly afterwards, they met up withDevconand agreed to join him on his quest to hunt downCyclonus,Disclosureblasting off as soon as their ship was put into working order by the newest member of the Dinobots.The Wreckers: Finale Part 1
The group wound up back on Cybertron to help fend off a Quintesson invasion heralded by Cryotek. As T-Wrecks and his troops cleaved through innumerable Sharkticons, the Dinobot leader was shocked to witness Triceradon vanish before him in a flash of light. He assumed his subordinate's disappearance was the result of a new Quintesson weapon, unaware that Triceradon had been snatched up by an interdimensional force... Despite this setback, the Quintessons were eventually repelled from Cybertron.Wreckers: Finale Part II

- Beast MachinesT-Wrecks is aredecoof the Ultra ClassBeast WarsPredaconMegatron,transforming into an organicTyrannosaurus rex.His dino-mode mouth hides a water-spraying bellows that is activated by pulling open the top half of the head; the mechanism is taken out from the back of the neck. In robot mode, his left arm has a lunging/snapping claw gimmick, plus he has a pair of hip-mounted spring-loaded missile launchers. He retains the "mutant head"gimmick as well: a pair of bat-like" wings "on his helmet that swing forward to cover his face as a" battle mask "(a feature which, unlike the original Megatron's, was actually depicted in fiction).

- Maximal T-Wrecks(Leader Class,2021)
- Released to commemorate the 25th anniversary ofBeast Wars,Kingdom"Maximal T-Wrecks" is a redeco ofMegatron (Beast),transforming into aJurassic Park-inspiredTyrannosaurus rexmode. T-Wrecks does not come with anyfire blast effects,although others can be attached inside his dinosaur mode mouth. While he features a left hand underneath the tail weapon in robot mode, the tail weapon cannot be detached from his forearm. In a particular bit ofsprueweirdness, the front half of T-Wrecks's chest and entire upper waist are molded in dark gray plastic which has been oddly painted over in a warm metallic dark gray insideandout. While the dark gray isn't the tan that the original toy had, it does have a brown-ish tinge to it. T-Wrecks' entire deco here appears to be based on a very specific Hasbro stock photo of the original handpainted prototype... including making the upper half of the waist gray because the angle of the photo has the prototype's silver chest obscuring a backwards, misassembled waist.
- Most of the beast mode shell is cast in a rubbery PVCplasticmaterial, likely to enhance the texture of the dinosaur mode as well as assist the part-clashing transformation. The beast mode itself is well articulated, especially with thigh pieces on a slider to ensure vertical hip-movement, as well as spring-loaded pieces around his neck to prevent the sculpt from breaking up too much while posing.
- T-Wrecks was meant to feature a "pretooled"alternate head when compared to Megatron, as the packaging art, box back product renders, and instructions depict an alternate robot face sculpt with exposed teeth like the original toy. However, all specimens of T-Wrecks have the" standard "Megatron face sculpt, except with extra paint running across the lips exactly where exposed teeth should have been. The face sculpt would be eventually used for theBeast Wars Againrelease of theoriginalKingdomMegatron mold.
- T-Wrecks was released as a Toyworld and JB Hi-Fi exclusive inAustraliaandNew Zealand,both also being the first to receive T-Wrecks even before any official unveiling.[2]T-Wrecks would ultimately get an official pre-order onHasbro PulseUKabout three weeks later and finally as aTargetexclusive for the USA in July of 2021; while initially supposedly a "Red Card" online exclusive, he was quickly made available in regular stores. Initially set for aJanuary 29,2022release by TakaraTomy, T-Wrecks was delayed to March 2022.
- Due to the exclusivity of the figure, noGolden Disk destiny cardsare included.

- ReActionT-Wrecks is a redeco ofReActionBeast Megatron,a 3¾-inch "retro" -styled action figure based on Megatron's show model. He has five points of articulation, with a swivel neck, shoulders, and hips.
- He comes packaged on a small cardback that mixes the design of the originalBeast Warspackaging with some nostalgic elements resemblingKenner'sStar Warsaction figures from the late 1970s to early '80s. The card lists him as a Maximal and the Dinobot Commander, but the Target website calls him "T-Wrecks Megatron", "Predacon commander".
Notes
- Several hints in hisBeast Machinestoy bio suggest T-Wrecks may be the same character as theGeneration 1DinobotGrimlockin a new body, such as being a "former attack specialist" (hisBeast Warsfunction) and some references toGeneration 2.However, he is not portrayed as such in his fictional appearances.
