Wild and cruel with a mean sense of humor,Tailslide(テイルスライドTairusuraido) is a member of theSpeed Chaser Team.Along withMidshipandTop Gear,he hunts down Mini-Cons onEarthto capture them and return them to their original purpose as servants ofUnicron.

Tailslide was one of many Mini-Cons who awoke on his own on Earth after the crash of theExodus.He was pursued by Top Gear, who used aFixer Bugdrone to reformat his mind and body, turning him into a cruel fellow minion of Unicron.Linkage Part 2

Tailslide was reactivated at theDeccan PlateauinIndia,where he immediately used histransfixation beamability to force-transformServoand lock him in car mode. However, he wasn't able to do much more, as the evil Mini-Cons were forced away by the arrival ofScavenger.Linkage Part 4

As part of the Speed Chaser Team's combinedMagnawingmode, Tailslide attackedFalcia,but was chased off byCombusta.Linkage Part 6Sidewayslater presented Tailslide and the others with a large capsule.Linkage Part 8It contained the insaneBulk Ravenus,whom the Speed Chaser Team sicced on their enemies.Linkage Part 9With their mission a success, they retreated,Linkage Part 10only to be knocked out of the air byRedline.Linkage Part 11

Tailslide later watched as Mini-Cons began waking up all over Earth, and stated that their mission would've gone a lot smoother if they had known there were so many of them.Linkage Part 12He was not seen during the final battle with Unicron, but it's very likely that he was there, and very unlikely that he survived.Linkage Part 13

Legends of the MicronsTailslide is aredecoof theRace Mini-Con TeammemeberDownshift,transforming into a Le Mans Prototype-style race car. He can also combine withMidshipandTop Gearto form the back end of theMagnawingjet. Like (almost) all Mini-Cons, he has aPowerlinxsocket that enables him to be attached to any figure with a compatible Powerlinx plug.

He was only available with the first run of the fourthLegends of the MicronsDVD in Japan, and came with thefourth installmentof theLinkagecomic.Later pressings of the disc, however, did not include the toys or comic.
