In this nightmarish universe,Megazaraktook control of thePredacon/Decepticonforces after the defeat ofMegatronat the hands ofOmega Prime.Scourgebriefly challenged the new warlord's power, but was slain byTox-Enand his body remade as the bumblingToxitron.The deceased Megatron was also defiled, transformed into theundeadMegaboltto controlBrave Maximusfollowing theEmissary's destruction byRuination.Sky-Byteand thePredacon Trio,meanwhile, fled Megazarak's clutches.

Rail Racerwas reformatted into the evilDominus Trannisby theRobo-Smasher,and Autobot hero Hot Spot, having been upgraded intoDefensor,was forced to slay his former comrades. TheBuild Teamalso fell to the Robo-Smasher, becoming theConstructicons.

On the eve of the critical confrontation betweenOptimus Primeand Megazarak's forces, several on both sides were abducted byUnicronto fight in theUniverse War:Fireflight,Side Burn,Ironhide,Drydock,Ratchet,Swerve,Prowl,Megabolt, theCommandos,and the Constructicons. Despite the loss of some Decepticons, the fight proved to be the Autobots' doom, Megazarak slaughtering them. TheMatrix,however, escaped Megazarak's grasp, having been passed to Defensor, who was nowhere to be found.

In his final confrontation with Megazarak, Defensor was aided by none other than Sky-Byte and his three Predacon companions. Ultimately, Defensor was triumphant over Megazarak. However, while in the process of rebuilding Cybertron, the Matrix then gave him visions of another Megazarak, one fromViron 403.0 Betawho had spread his evil to other universes. Defensor felt an obligation to put an end to this Megazarak as well.Ask Vector Prime, 07/09/2015

• Viron 704.31 Epsilon is theuniversal streamdesignation corresponding to the "Shell Game"comic, taking its specifications from the date ofOTFCC 2004,where it was released in theOTFCC 2004 guide.
• Fittingly, most of the denizens of this timeline abducted into the Universe War had figures released under the banner of the2003Universetoyline.The notable exceptions are Drydock, a canceled release from the2010Transformerstoyline,and Megabolt, from the2001Robots in Disguisetoyline(who had previously receiveda bioplacing him in theUniversesetting). It is also the home universe of theBotCon 2007exclusiveBeta Maxx.
• Some of the characters in this continuity, such as Fortress Maximus and the members of the Build Team, have the names of their JapaneseCar Robotscounterparts rather than their English names.
