The Undermind is a collective mind from Zombies vs. Robots.

"Now the gate has been unlatched, headstones pushed aside; corpses shift and offer room, a fate you must abide!"

TheUndermindis a vastzombieintelligence composed of many, many minds. By turning more beings into zombies, it adds their intelligence and knowledge to its own, gaining the benefit of their technology. In this way, it can spread out to take over whole realities and even span the divide into other universes. It can even warp the minds of the unassimilated, altering their view of reality to suit itself. Resistance is futile.

Zombies vs. Robots

The Undermind originally resided in Dimension Z. It used a portal opened from a neighboring reality to send hordes of zombies through, and when aCovert Vampiric Operationsteam showed up, took possession of the team zombieBenny.It forced Benny to biteBritt,turning her into a vampire/zombie hybrid and had him raid CVO's collection of artillica. By transforming Britt into a living artillica, the Undermind was able to split her essence and send it to four other universes in order to spread its influence.Infestation #1

A portion of Britt and some zombies ended up in auniverse populated with Transformersand the Undermind's perception warping resulted in her being accepted byGalvatronas "Bayonet". She traveled with Galvatron toEarthwhere they arrived inLas Vegas.The Transformers: Infestation #2The zombies began swarming everywhere while theAutobotsfought with Galvatron's forces.Kupalone was able to see through the Undermind's influence and expose Bayonet as Britt.The Transformers: Infestation #1Though the Undermind attempted to assimilate Kup, he resisted long enough for Galvatron to use theHeart of Darknesson the zombie hordes. Kup eventually succumbed, giving the Undermind Autobot technology levels and allowing it to reconfigure Britt's form into a temporal portal aimed atCybertronin the past. Using secretly-installed protocols in Kup's brain,Prowlhad Kup redirect the portal to theDead Universe,and the Undermind was pulled through it.The Transformers: Infestation #2

The Undermind had the original Britt bring the aspects of herself back from the other realities and begin the process of bringing the Undermind itself through from Dimension Z. Cross transformed himself into a vampire/zombie hybrid like Britt, but was too late to stop the Undermind coming through the portal. He was forced to use his new-found power to rewrite the very laws ofmagicand erase the Undermind from existence.Infestation #2
