Dinlinler,Çin tarihçiliğinde MÖ 1. yüzyıl bağlamında görünen eski bir halktı.

Dinlin'in erkenTürkçekonuşan bir halk olduğu kabul edilir.^[1]^[2]Ayrıca daha sonrakiŞivey halkı^[3]^[4]arasındaTunguzcakonuşanların ataları oldukları veyaNa-DenéveYeniseycekonuşanlarla akraba oldukları ileri sürüldü.^[5]

Modern arkeologlar, Dinlin'in doğu İskit ufkuna, yaniTagar kültürüneait olduğunu belirlediler.^[6]
