Fosm.org

Fosm.org(website) is aforkof the OpenStreetMap database, designed to keep theCC-BY-SAlicense (OSM's data license before the switch toODbLin September 2012) and thereby keep all the data compatible with it.

As of June 2022 the data of fosm.org is outdated a lot.

Editing

It is a work-in-progress, although the data and a limited read/write API are already running. It is possible to configureJOSMto use the fosm.org server for downloads and uploads of data. It is also possible to useMerkaartorwith patches appliedhttps://github.com/fosm/fosm-merkaartor.

There are patches for the revert scriptshttps://github.com/fosm/FOSM-revert-scripts.
