When I first picked up book one, Core, it was more so out of obligation. I was talking about it to a friend, saying they should read it. That friend asked me specific questions about the book, in which I couldn't answer, as I had not yet read it! From the moment I completed reading the first chapter, I was completely hooked on not only The Core Series, but on Combs writing in general. I literally cried for real at the end of the first novel, not knowing what I'd do with myself until the following one came out! How could I possibly go on awaiting the fates of Ava and Cale??????? I'm happy to report that over 2 years later, I'm still here! Anxiously awaiting whatever this brilliant author pens next!!!!!!!!

Here a some things I have thought or said or screamed while reading this series: "Wait, what?!" "Nooo!" "YES!" "Go! Go! Go!" "Awww!" "I need to talk to Teshelle about this. How could she do this to me?" "That's so cool!" "I hate him so much" "But whyyyyy?" "I wish I was Ava." "Now hold on..." "I wish I had a dragon." "I can't believe this!" "Awww! I knew it!" "Is this the end?! This can't be the end. I need more!"
For those who have read The Core Series, I know you have had similar responses and for those who will read it, buckle up! ;)

Dragons? I cannot believe I read all 3 of these books! (I'm just not that into dragons) but, Ava and Cale will pull you in like long lost family! You'll root for this couple, cry for this couple and even find yourself getting mad at them! These books are brilliantly written, whether you're into Dragons or not, you're gonna love the characters that Ms Combs has created. Treat yourself and read all 3!

Simply AWESOME!!!
All three need to be placed on your list of books to read immediately. You feel like you are a part of the story and each one leaves you waiting for the next. Teshelle Combs is one to watch out for. Applause, applause and cannot wait for the next one.

Really solid fantasy series with a premise you don't see too often; shape-shifting dragons living among us in modern times! If you're a dragon junkie or just in the mood for some not-so-high fantasy, the Core series is where it's at.
