    Would be 5 stars without having to 'reengineer' fittings. I got this primarily for use in our camper, small and lightweight. What’s not entirely intuitive… The assembly instructions do not tell you which end of the hose goes where. The long end of the hose fits the attachments fine, but does not fit into the lower brush section. The long end pops out from the spring tension in the hose, and it wobbles not creating a tight seal. I wrapped a layer of Duck Tape around it to keep it in place (see pic). The short end that fits to the vacuum chamber didn't fit. The fittings are the same size (ID and OD) and won't couple. I got past this with a heat gun and hose clamp to ‘shrink’ the small end just enough to fit into the vacuum fitting. Basic Engineering flaws!!!Once it was reengineered, it works well. It’s light weight and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the ‘Turbo Brush’ worked! It's 'powered by the vacuum action so I was a bit skeptical, but it does work well.

    This vacuum cleaner has a lot going for it. First and foremost is the price--you can't do much better. It's suction is good and its maneuverability is fantastic. It slides effortlessly over capets. It has an extremely long cord which means you can vacuum an entire small apartment without unplugging it. It is light as a feather and was a snap to do the mimimal assembly--no screws or tools required. I had a Eureka previously for the same price and there's no comparison. So, with so many choices on Amazon, if you're on a budget and need a good vacuum cleaner, look no further.

    I bought this vacuum to replace an aging Bissell that has served me well for over 5 years. My previous model was very similar to this one but didn't have the adjustable floor option, which is a really nice addition!

    For the price, this product has (so far) met or exceeded my expectations. It cleans well and having the option to adjust the high depending on your surface type is a nice quality of life improvement over the older model.

    I like that you can take the pole out and use it to vacuum hard to reach places - something I didn't realize the older model did as well! I do wish, however, that the hose was a bit longer. The provided tools should give you ample enough options for every day cleaning - I am not sold on the turbo brush, however, as even with my old model it was more gimmick than useful. The only thing I wish this newer model had is a light, but at this price point I can't complain.

    The machine is made fairly well, and if my old machine is anything to go by it should serve me (and you) as well as long as you treat it properly. The only other con I can think of is it's a bit loud, just like the last one. It would be nice if they could reduce the volume in future iterations because living in a complex I try to be mindful of others.

    Overall, I would highly recommend this powerful little Bissell, especially given the price tag. Why pay more for the same functionality?

    Super easy to assemble right out of the box. Handle, tube, done. The suction is pretty powerful, too. It picked up a full bin of fur and dust from a quick pass over our bedroom carpet. Compared to other vacuums I've used, it's somewhat lightweight. Not the lightest, but definitely not a pain to lug around. Its got a very long cord that can reach my entire apartment from a central plug.

    If there's anyone with particularly long hair in the house, expect to have to pull the strands from the main brush so it doesnt build up and get stuck in the moving parts. This is less of a problem with the vacuum, and more of a reality of having long hair. It does get pretty warm during use, but cools down pretty quickly after you let it sit for a minute. Just be aware of the temperature and give it breaks if you're vacuuming the whole house.

    Overall, I'm impressed for the price. Bissell is a brand I've had experience with, so I imagine it'll last a while with proper maintenance, like the other Bissell vacuums I've used before. Shipping was super fast too, from order to door in a couple hours with same-day.

    I've been using this vacuum for a few weeks now and have to say I absolutely love it. I needed a small vacuum that wouldn't be difficult to store but would also get the job done because I have 2 cats. Long-hair cats. Its power is very impressive for how little it is, and as a clean freak having an easily cleanable filter is a dream. The overall build isn't super high quality, but for the price I am still VERY pleased. Would highly recommend for smaller apartments/houses.
