Good content but material is subpar
The content of the book is concise and easily understandable. The quality of the book is bad because the pages were easily detached from the spine of the book.

These "First Aid" Books are incredibly popular with medical students--to the point some ONLY use this to learn from. I gave it 5 stars because it was well-boxed/packaged and arrived in pristine condition. HOWEVER, in terms of readability, presentation of content, and "should I rely on this for my medical education" it gets 1 star. Medical student beware. There are so many other resources you can use that teach topics in a better manner.

very useful and detailed book
Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2024
The book came quickly and seemed to be in new condition. I opened it and noticed the spine had been pre-worn/snapped down the middle. I needed it to study ASAP so I tried to ignore this... not even 2 weeks later the pages are falling out where the spine had been forced open and I am fighting to keep the book together. There are multiple other reviews stating the same thing!!! Please beware.

It is extremely well-written, easy to understand, and comprehensive. If one learns this book and does some Q bank, will pass USMLE STEP 1. There are of course other accompanies to the book. It has been a while since I had read a medical textbook with such quality.

Subpar Quality Alert: The book's paper and ink are disappointingly poor, seriously impacting text clarity and image reproduction. Moreover, the pages began falling apart almost immediately after use, highlighting significant durability issues.

Nice book. Came in great condition. Arrived the next day I ordered it. If you need it, I recommand you buying it on Amazon because it's the fastest way to receive it. All the other website we're proposing 2 weeks of shipping.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is a copy/photostat version!

This is not the original book, it’s a copy of first aid using very low quality pages, using a highlighter on such a page will be difficult!!
