The Daniel Plan is one of the best books I've ever read. If you liked Purpose Driven Life, then you'll be nourished by the Daniel Plan's holistic approach to spiritual & physical fitness, health and purposeful living.
Unfortunately, the Daniel Plan Cookbook was a costly disappointment. The Cookbook is beautiful and includes an informative introduction regarding healthy food ingredient selection. Surprisingly, NONE of the recipes include any nutritional or caloric info. If you want to know how many calories are in the recipes - before you decide to prepare the recipes - you're out of luck. What kind of cookbook leaves out nutritional info?? Sadly, this cookbook omits any caloric info.
Considering how much emphasis the Daniel Plan places on making healthy and informed choices, I sincerely hope that the authors of the Daniel Plan Cookbook will include caloric and nutritional info for all recipes in the next edition, or at least make the info for this edition available online for those who've purchased the book. Without this important info, I can only give the Cookbook 2 stars.
