Holdover markets were led by China with $7.4 million and Australia and South Korea with $1.1 million each and were down an average of 46 percent. The alien invasion movie's worldwide (domestic plus foreign) total is now north of $152 million, and it still has a long way to go to matchDistrict 9's $210.8 million total.

It was buoyed by a $4.1 million first place opening in France, which was a bit behind last March'sHow to Train Your Dragonbut still solid in its own right. While its worldwide total of $163 million isn't in the comedian's Top Ten,Just Go With Itstill has many new territories to look forward to and should close above $200 million.
Gnomeo and Julietadded an estimated $8.2 million over the weekend thanks to first place openings in Germany ($1.9 million) and Mexico ($1.3 million). It also held extremely well in Spain, where it was up seven percent to $1.9 million. The animated movie's foreign total is now at $70.2 million for a worldwide tally of $166.2 million.
Limitlessrounded out the Top Five, earning an estimated $6.6 million from 13 markets for a two-week total of $14.3 million. Over half of its tally came from a solid $3.4 million first place start in the U.K.
Despite opening on 2,175 screens in 23 markets,Zack Snyder'sSucker Punchgenerated a paltry $6.5 million. It couldn't even crack the $1 million mark in Spain, Italy, Mexico or Brazil, all of which are major international territories where effects-heavy movies likeSucker Punchusually fare well. It did have solid debuts in smaller Asian markets, claiming first place in Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan and second place in Thailand and the Philippines. This suggested that it will eventually put up better numbers in bigger Asian countries like Japan, China and South Korea, though that's far from guaranteed.
