Ace Attorney - That's Wright! ~ An Anime Introduction

After over twenty years of Ace Attorney, there has there been an overwhelming amount of content for a new player; although chances are, if you're reading this, you feel there's not notenough!.But now that the series is so accessible in large quantities of content, Capcom released an eight-minute Anime clip calledAce Attorney TV!



It features an introduction from Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth, with a more detailed- art style than what the regular Ace Attorney anime received years ago, with all the humor necessary to let somebody know what the series is like.



And they explain and go overeverything,Ghost Trick included. It's all a part of the Ace Attorney universe, I suppose! Although they didn't spill the beans about Missile...



Make sure to watch this fun video as a trademark of this legendary series that has impacted so many of our lives! It's been quite a journey of different styles and eras, but they still kept the style of the original trilogy for this video, and brought it all to life jampacked with referenced to the games.

Ace Attorney Investigations: Collection Released

Apologies for the late announcement.

The Ace Attorney Investigations: Collection was released over a week ago with equally as successful reviews as the previous Ace Attorney Collection re-releases.

Now not only can the west enjoy the second Miles Edgeworth game, but people can play the entire franchise all on one consoles whether it be the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Steam, et cetera.

The game, like the others, has indeed been the graphical and faithful remaster promised. A few rearranged tracks in ways that aren't over the top, while still keeping most elements the same.



One nice feature is the set of achievements. It adds attention to the little jokes and details of the game, getting you inspired to examine and click around throughout the cases.

The little details you can now notice in places such as the location backgrounds are truly something else. Finally giving the original artists more appreciation for their work all those years ago.

We hope you enjoy the many hours of gameplay of the Edgeworth duology.

Apollo Justice HD Trilogy Released!

It's been half a year since the announcement. The Apollo Justice Trilogy hasfinally been released to new consoles!

Available on all modern consoles (Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Steam, etc.) for $49.99. Three games worth of value, spanning across two different generations of Ace Attorney graphics and consoles.

Some might argue that Ace Attorney games 4-6 were not supposed to be an "Apollo Justice" featured series, but this was likely always the developer's intent. When Dual Destinies was released in 2013, Ace Attorney experienced its largest stylistic transition, and while some fans often dislike the game, it may have been a neccesary step in order to move onto what the series has turned into as well as what later games can become.

The remaster also includes several Special Features as well as other improvements. TheDLC CostumesandDLC Casesthat were originally extra purchases on the 3DS (as well as region-locked in some cases, such as Phoenix Wright's Furio Tigre outfit only being available in Japan...) are now all given to you by default and that you can activate freely throughout the game.



There is also theOrchestra Hall,which gives you a jukebox of the entire soundtrack, both for the original game soundtrack, and for numerous Orchestral remixes! This totals to almost 200 songs, freely accesable!



There's also theArt Library,jampacked with both concept artwork and complete artwork for anything done for the trilogy.



And perhaps most exciting of all, theAnimation Studio!This is almost like Capcom's tribute to all the customCasemakersthat have been made by fans of this franchise over the years. It may not be quite as expansive as being able to create entire cases, but you can take any animation and background you like and create scenes in official Ace Attorney format!

HD Remaster for Ace Attorney 4-6 Announced

Due to the large gap in time, as well as the bridge between the Nintendo DS and 3DS, not everyone viewedApollo Justice: Ace Attorneyas an entry into a second trilogy the way the first three Phoenix Wright games are known for, but good news is here!

But given how often Capcom has re-released the Ace Attorney games with upscaled artwork and graphics, it isn't surprising that the three games are being ported in HD, as well as to this generation's consoles (Nintendo Switch, Steam, Playstation and Xbox).

After remastering and localizingThe Great Ace Attorney,this announcement is not surprising.

In fact, this is the first time that this trilogy will include a language option for French, German, Korean, and Chinese, so it is the trilogy's first Worldwide localization!

Capcom is a little heavy on remakes and remasters, but there's always value as well as good business in taking the assets of their older works and making them look even nicer.

TheJapaneseandEnglishtrailers indicates that the interface and visual style will be similar to the previous HD remasters.

This title will be released in early 2024.

Apollo Justice Storyline Coming to TEPP?N

TEPP?N,the free digital collectible card game developed as a crossover project betweenGungHo Online Entertainmentand Capcom has included numerous opportunities for Ace Attorney it be included. It's almost like seeing Marvel vs. Capcom 3 take a more modern form!

Back in May 2021, Capcom added a Phoenix Wright-themed card set as one of their numerous free expansions to this game, featuring an episode calledAce vs. The People.

Now they have announced a second Ace Attorney-themed deck, featuring the story and characters from Apollo Justice. It's being released with an episode calledTurnabout Festival.The storyline of this expansion is going to feature courtroom battles betweenApollo Justicecharacters andResident Evilcharacters.

The detailed artwork in this game bares a resemblance to the works of George Kamitani's art design in games likeOdin Sphereand13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim,although he doesn't happen to take part of the art team of this game.

Ghost Trick Remaster Announced

Yesterday's Nintendo Direct revealed a new port of Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi's 2010 DS game "Ghost Trick Phantom Detective". Although the game isn't necessarily Ace Attorney related, it shares a similar brand of humour and features a detective story with puzzle-solving gameplay elements.

A port of the game was already released on mobile devices back in 2012, but now a full HD remaster is coming to PC and Consoles later this year, complete with a few additional elements including a gallery, music player and some picture slide-puzzles referred to as "Ghost Puzzles".

Ace Attorney Trilogy Re-released on iOS, Android

Yes, it's that time of year again - the newly remastered version of thePhoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogyhas been released onto a new platform; iOS and Android. You could previously buy an HD version of the Trilogy on your phones, but it was known for being plagued by bugs and spelling errors. Since then, the Trilogy has had a complete graphical upgrade for next-gen consoles, which is the version that is now being released on phones.

You can purchase the game on iOShere,and on Androidhere.A limited time discount is available until June 15th, so if you're planning on buying or recommending to a friend, I'd do it sooner than later.

2022 Sprite/3D Model Competition
