On July 22, Sam's Club launched its "Fast Delivery" service in Dongguan's Nancheng District. This service allows residents to order from a selection of over a thousand high-quality products online and have them delivered to their doorsteps within an hour.

Around 8:30 this morning, Mr. Duan became one of the first customers to try out the new service. "Previously, I had to go to Shenzhen or Guangzhou to buy Sam's Club products. Now, with 'Fast Delivery' in Nancheng, I can quickly get fresh items like milk, fruit, and meat. It's very convenient," he said excitedly.

The service bridges the gap between products and members, allowing for online orders to be delivered fresh within an hour. Liu Hong, General Manager of Dongguan Sam's Club, explained that the service currently centers around Nancheng, creating a fast delivery zone within an hour. In August, the service will expand to cover Dongcheng and Liaobu, with plans to eventually cover the entire city of Dongguan.

The "Fast Delivery" service in Nancheng features over 1,000 highly-repurchased items, including a wide range of fresh produce, baby products, personal care items, and daily essentials. Popular items like original flavor mochi, lime juice drinks, Swiss rolls, and durian puffs are also available. To cater to the preferences of Sam's Club members for high-end products, the service also offers imported fruits, grains, personal care and beauty products, beverages, nuts, and sea cucumbers.

Strict measures are in place to guarantee that members receive the same high-quality products they expect from in-store shopping. To ensure the freshness of deliveries, customized insulated boxes are used, with frozen items separately packaged to maintain a refrigeration effect for up to four hours. Temperature control devices monitor the cold chain during delivery to ensure consistent quality.

Additionally, the main structure of the new Sam's Club in Liaobu Town is nearly complete. The project, a significant investment for the city with a total cost of approximately 486 million RMB, covers over 23,000 square meters and includes three floors. The first two floors are dedicated to shopping, while the third floor and rooftop, along with the basement, provide parking with a total of 1,050 spaces. The project aims to open in October after final inspections in September, enhancing the shopping experience for local residents.
