Im almost 50% into the story.. and not once has Mac asked Jericho who he is and how he knows all this!! Super annoying... do we get to know about Jericho in this book?

Any other Irish person bothered that the secretary of Inspector Patrick O'Duffy referred to him as Patty? A person who actually lives in Ireland would know it's Paddy. Made me cringe.

I personally love the powerful and aloof male lead in this book. I also really like that they don't fall in love after 5 seconds. I've been trying to find similar books and have failed, do you have any recommendations? If so, PLEASE share!

Powerful male that you can't decide if you want to kiss or slap. Slow build romance.

Some other good ones with slow build romance are Singh's Angel Guild, Andrew's Kate Daniels, and Maas' Court of Thorn and Roses (romance is slow enough in this one that you think the HEA will be with another at one point).(less)
