So, as I said before the school days storyline here is not that fun. The focus of most of this volume is with the filmmaker villain is just not that interesting. The art is good.
This volume has been expertly weaving big action set pieces together with deep and personal character writing. It managed to satisfyingly focus on like 7 different characters and their ideals and backstories without feeling rushed. This manga is on another level.
Lots of great fight sequences! I don't know who's crazier, Kanaguri or Club Jam? Probably Club Jam, "Wheeeee! I've never been electrocuted before!" Lol good grief. Anyway, this is my favorite series. Can't wait for volume 12:)
i love seeing all of them fight and all the skills they have. the arc is fun asf man I DONT WANT ANY OF THEM TO GET HURT (also... always bet on the old fuckers because they are SKILLED)
This is definitely wearing thin for me now. I was intrigued by the premise to begin with but the execution and continuing plot developments haven't really managed to capture and maintain my interest all too well.
I was thinking during last volume that this manga reminds me a bit ofJohn Wick;I only really care about the cool action, but the writer keeps dumping goofy lore on me. It was especially funny because there's a library fight in this volume, which is a notable setpiece in one of theWickmovies as well.
Anyway, despite complaints above, the writing here is mostly pretty good. The lore about this huge assassin world is for some reason harder to suspend disbelief for than e.g.Naruto,but that's not the point in this volume. Here, the primary concern is for a handful of characters, in particular Amane's family.
Shishiba was antagonistic toward Sakamoto earlier, right? Cuz he's kind of a "bad guy" now (again?), if we assume Amane's dad is about to be redeemed.
Giving this Five Stars because I find it better than some previous volumes, and I've rated most of those at Four Stars. Simple as.

A review of the whole series up until now (chapter 163, WHICH EATS BY THE WAY) I can’t believe it took me so long to read Sakamoto Days, it’s so fucking good. I have such a fun time reading it and I love basically every character we meet. So far my favorite arc is the past arc where we see Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Akko in action while at the JCC, talk about a fucking dream team. But I feel like the story is consistently getting better so I’m really excited to read on! Chapter 163….what the hell are we gonna do now. Side note Shin is such a mystery, like there has to be more to him than what we know because why did that one guy seem to recognize him from the past?
The school wide battle continues. Shin really gets a chance to shine this volume. It's easy to see how he took the #1 spot in the popularity poll (which is revealed at the end of the volume). Hopefully this series will get an anime adaptation soon.
So the first volumes were a little bit overhyped for me, but this one was top tier! I had some Jujutsu Kaisen flashbacks, and that’s great:) Also the art and fight sequences stepped up a notch
Another fun and action packed installation in a novel and humorous manga series. The characters are all interesting and it is an enjoyable read throughout.
