I loved Hopeless and it really wasn't a surprise because Colleen Hoover can do no wrong. I knew as soon as Losing Hope was released I had to purchase it. The book did not disappoint. In fact-it blew me away. I am so happy I was able to get inside Holder's head. He is the perfect blend of sweetness and alpha-male. I was also happy that the book was not an exact repeat of Hopeless. There was a big part of the story that allowed us to get a look into Holder's life from the time that Hope went missing to after everything happened, at the end of Hopeless. I really enjoyed getting to see that side of the story, and believe Colleen did an excellent job pulling the reader in.

He's the tortured bad boy who holds the woman he loves up on a pedestal. He doesn't notice any other female but her. Lucy is his everything. But unfortunately things get messy for awhile and relationships have their problems. Because of this little bump in the road, I was on the edge of my seat (or bed) through most of the story. It's a good thing though, because I like stories that can affect me in such a way. Thanks for another great read!:) I look forward to reading the third book in the series (Crush)....more
