"Aku ingat semuanya." Aku berdiri terpaku sejenak.
One thing that still bothers me, tho, adalah judulnya.

They can sleep 20 hours a day and they look beautiful. They know that there’s nothing to get excited about. The next meal. And a little something to kill now and then. When I’m being torn by the forces, I just look at one or more of my cats. There are 9 of them. I just look at one of them sleeping or half-sleeping and I relax. Writing is also my cat. Writing lets me face it. It chills me out. For a while anyhow. Then my wires get crossed and I have to do it all over again. I can’t understand writers who decide to stop writing. How do they chill out?
I really love this collection. Everything about this is perfect, might be one of the book from Bukowski that I can relate too. I cherish every page of this. Remember, always trust guys who wrote poetry and loved cats!...more

Absolutely beautiful. I was already mesmerized when I first watched Sarah's performed this poem in her TED video, but to experience the poem again through Sophia's delicate illustrations is a journey I would never want to miss. Must read (and watch)!
My personal favourite quote would be this: "Because there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s swept away. " ...more

Borrowing this book so often that the librarian simply laughed at me when he saw me approaching him, "Again?" What can I say? I'm a sucker for Dan Brown.

I probably write the same review as I reviewed the radio dramatisation. But, seriously. There's part of book, that side that can not be replaced with other. I'm finally listening to this amazing masterpiece! I was as mesmerized with Good Omens Radio Dramatisation as much as Good Omens book and the TV Series. Every version brings new experience, new adventure. And I have to taste it myself! I can't help to love this dramatisation as well. It just happens. And it's ineffable.
If you want to imagine the future, imagine a boy and his dog and his friends. And a summer that never ends. And if you want to imagine the future, imagine a boot… no, imagine a sneaker, laces trailing, kicking a pebble; imagine a stick, to poke at interesting things, and throw for a dog that may or may not decide to retrieve it; imagine a tuneless whistle, pounding some luckless popular song into insensibility; imagine a figure, half angel, half devil, all human… Slouching hopefully towards Tadfield… …forever....more

Holy shit. I don't know where to start. I never listen to any dramatisation or audiobook before so my opinion could be heavily biased. But since I listen to this one, I have to say that it's freaking brilliant. I'm in love with every character, from Richard to Lady Door, from Mr. Croup and Mr. Vanderman to Islington. I think it's very important that each voice is very unique on their own that as a non-English speaker, I can still hear the distinction between one character to other. Each cast does wonderful job in "translating" the book into something that we could listen and we could picture even without seeing it. Aside from the casting that is very on point, the whole sound effects are very, very supportive to the story and it adds the important elements that would only complete the dialogues; together they create this whole experience of "watching" adaptation, sans the visual. The visualisation is our imagination. Let yourself lay in the dark of your room, close your eyes, set this on full volume, and voilà—you've got the best deal of a book adaptation you could ever get. I can't recommend this enough. Listen to this. It'll be a truly remarkable experience for you....more

Neil and Terry have done awesome jobs in composing the whole story. Their antics and their footnotes always brighten my time. I remember when I'm reading this, I'm thinking: oh God, I imagine they must have the best time to do this collaboration, because it shows. Definitely one of my favorite and I'm just off to reread again because I can never get enough....more

Twist and Shout has been praised everywhere and I blamed myself for reading it lately. I'm never fond for multichapter unless it really —by really, i meanseriously completely— caught my attention. I should thank toogay4happy for their fic,Dean Reads Twist and Shoutbecause it what got me reading T&S in rush afterward.
I officially declare myself as hardcore shipper for Destiel after finishing this beautiful piece of art. T&S indeed worth praise and blood and tears sacrifices from any Destiel shipper. The story was well-written, hell, friggin beautifully well-written. I often have to remind myself that this is just fanfiction, and no, I will never be able to see this on screen no matter how friggin much I want it. Well, to be honest, I don’t know what else I’m gonna write here about this, maybe I’ll continue to babble in Bahasa Indonesia, since my mind was clouded by too-much-feelings attack. *ditendang*
But then—as I said above—everything changes in a blink. Aku ngebut baca ini, gara-gara super penasaran. Dan baru aja kelar. I’m proud of myself karena cuma ngabisin tisu 5 lembar.
SO! I will skip the part where I grossly sobbed over fictional characters over here. And no, I don’t read this friggin heavy angst and talk about it like it hasn’t changed me. So, I leave it to you to read it by youself, because I’d like to keep any touching and heartbreaking moment for myself. However let y’all know this about some characters. I love Sam and Jess (and little Abby). Meg is pain in the ass, tho it’s not straightly her fault. Balthazar is friggin amazing and I’m thankful and sorry for his endless self-sacrifice to make Cas happy. Michael is douchebag. Tessa is an angel. Rachel is—honestly, I don’t know but I think it’s fair to mention her as one of the protagonist here (along with Gabe).
Enggak seperti biasa, aku justru nangkep memorable quotation pas baca yang bikin dada nyesek sampai enggak bisa napas. Not that the fluff and romantic parts aren’t great. They’re absolutely wonderful.
But, here some of my favorites.
"What happened to us? Cas, what happened?"
"We grew up. We were very young, Dean. And the world... asked a lot of us."
— chapter 9
"He would talk about you like you hung the moon. And he never spoke bad about you. You mean so much to him, Dean."
"I know. He’s something else. You try to shake him and he sticks in the back of your head."
"Even after everything that he's been through, he still talked about you like you were his world."
— chapter 11
"That’s part of being in love with someone," Tessa said after a moment, staring at the wall just beyond Cas’ head. “You fight them and you hurt them, but the whole time you’re trying.” She looked back at Dean “As long as you’re willing to fight for them, it all balances out, I think.”
— Tessa, chapter 11
"Don’t ever apologize for us. Don’t apologize for who we were. You made me so happy Dean. We did our best, we gave it our best try and it was… really beautiful."
— Cas, chapter 11
Cas’ shell sank to the bottom of the ocean.
— chapter 12

Sekali kecebur, bakalan susah ninggalinnya. Dan itu beeeeetttuuulll banget. So, I am gonna say some stuffs about this book.
Pertama, ini beneran naskah drama. Dan bukan buku. Jadi yang mengharap buku, ya sori:p But, enak banget kok bacanya. Meskipun gak bisa menemukan 'khasnya' mami Jo dalam buku ini, it's worth to read.
Feels like fanfiction? Yeps. Jadi penasaran, dramanya kayak apa ya o.O huew pengen liat:''3
I don't really know where to start. Oke, I'll start with two boys unyu2, Albus dan Scorpius. AAAAHHHH MEREKA KYUT BANGET. Awalnya aku ngeship Scorose (ketularan fanfiksi sih), tapi habis baca ini... I feel like I watched lil Johnlock being together (referensimu itu lho, mbi):'')) Manis banget persahabatan mereka.

I am sYay, it's been a while since I finished a book this fast. My reading speed currenly slow itself since I haven't got so attached into a story yet.
I am starting read Me and Earl and The Dying Girl when I accindentally found this book slipped.
And guess what? I don't regret it!
It is almost a bible for any fanficcers. I really wish I could find a Levi in real world (which is impossible:''3 but who knows?). Oh, Cath is so lucky! She started being a geek and a college-paranoid, but it turns out she won her situation.
I really love how Rowell gave a slight about Simon Snow and Cath's fanfic. And I feel kinda disaappointed to find out the end of the book.:(( Yeah, a problem with good book is you want it ends but you want it endless too.
The last streak was amazing. Cath finally get her project finished, even gained an award (envy!). I am glad she might not recover her relationship with Laura, I think it would be felt 'pushed' to make her so.
Over all, 5/5! O U T S T A N D I N G JOB, ROWELL TO MAKE ALL FANFICCERS NOTABLE!:*...more

It is a shame of me that I HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA that Love, Simon is based on this amazing book. I mean, I've got this book last year (or 2016-ish) but I never move my hand to open the page. The biggest mistake of my life.
This book is amazing. LIKE A GUARANTEE AMAZING. I read a lot of fanfictions lately and no longer keeping up with original fiction, but this book worth a shot. I love every piece of it. The premise reminds me a lot of a fanfiction trope about high school and certain gay pair I love, but seriously. I can see why this book is made into a movie. Anyway, I can't wait to watch the movie. And I'm glad that my crush, Keiynan Lonsdale is in it;)...more
