This book was so unbelievably and astonishingly good that I genuinely want to cry. Every book in this series was more harrowing and beautiful than the last until this one with must have been written with some SUPERNATURAL POWER because it really is that good!!!!!

The writing? Impeccable. Lyrical and gripping and I simply cannot. It gave me literal chills I am not lying, I want to be able to write like that, just a fraction of that talent please I'll take anything 🥺😭 The story MA GARSH the story. It was so good, so lovely and gut-punching (idk) that I turned every page as fast as I could and was utterly enchanted until the very last page. And the WORLDBUILDING like it's so lush and just SO *incoherent screaming* No words can describe how amazing this series is you really just have to read it yourself.

And PLEASE do. If you haven't, or quit after the first book, you are MAJORLY missing out. Jsyk.

And then the characters. BY THE HEAVENS THE CHARACTERS I SWEAR THEY ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO KILL ME. They're just so... so... I DON'T KNOW they're so deep and flawed and loveable 🤭

Kaden, first off. Mypreciousbaby selfless cinnamon roll he deserves the WORLD. He doesn't deserve to have to fight for a girl with someone else who she's already in love with, but he also doesn't deserve to fall for a girl who won't even trust him fully.(view spoiler)[He deserves everything he wants and more. And I shipped him so hard with Lia instead of jerky Rafe, but Lia wouldn't even consider him so he FREAKIN GAVE UP. It's so sad. And him and Pauline? Please no oh my garsh. When Lia saw them kissing I almost threw up. He deserves something neither of them can give him, it seems to me. He should branch out. Find someone who loves him fully and unconditionally. 🥲🤗(hide spoiler)]

My other favorites are Lia and Jeb. Lia is just an amazing baddie princess who knows how to get things done and she's one of the best main characters ever. And Jeb...(view spoiler)[his death was absolutely the worst ever. I sobbed and punched the book countless times. It was so heartbreaking and unnecessary and I WANNA MARRY HIM but NOW HE'S DEAD *sobs*(hide spoiler)]

BUT ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING I JUST WANT TO HUG THEM ALL 🤭🤭🤭

The climax was SPECTACULAR. I stayed up late finishing the book because I couldn't put it down until I found out how it ended. And the ending was beeeeeeautiful btw. I mean I had problems with it but it was still BEAUTIFUL you guys!!!!!!!!!!!

So really every aspect about this book was absolutely perfect. Recommended a thousand times over.
