Ok Everyone.
I am considering opening a store at cafepress.com.
I would be selling Tshirts, Hoodies, you name it.
But... I would like to know who would be interested in purchasing the merchandise before I start it.

Would you guys support our group and wear it loud and proud?

I am currently trying to design a logo for the products. Any art students out there? Anyone willing to show off their talent and submit thier design?

My only rules would have to be:
The logo MUST say TNBBC or The Next Best Book Club on it.
It would be great to also have the weblink, but I don't want it to be too overdone, so its not necessary.

If you like, post your design here and we can take a vote.... But first let's see who is interested.

So, who is willing to help me get this thing rollin'???????

Im taking what I created so far and updating the merchandise. It takes awhile to get it, and its by no means perfect, but.... I will post what I have once its ready.

no prices in Euro, however... will they ship overseas...? I haven't had time to research fully but will do so tomorrow morning when I am less bleary-eyed. I've had a long day!

I dont know too much about the site, since Ive never actually ordered from it yet. But I cant see why they wouldnt ship overseas....!!

That's odd, I'm in England and I clicked on the link and it gave me all the prices in pounds, which I assume means they ship here.

Love it!! If you ever add merchandise, I suggest the pins. I have a tote bag that I decorate with pins/buttons and one from TNBBC would be perfect!

I got a GR shirt from cafepress. I don't know if all their shirts are the same, but the sizes run super small. Well, the one I ordered did. I think it was one of the fitted ones. Anyway, I usually wear a large, but I had to return that one and get a 2xl!

That said, I'm off to look at the TNBBC stuff...

I think I just found something to buy myself for my birthday tomorrow! Probably a canvas bag or a T-shirt...maybe both.

JG, thats good information to share! When I order online, I tend to order the next size up just incase they tend to run small. If its a little big, I could always try to shrink it, you know?

Canvas bags are perfect for chronic book-luggers like ourselves. Very cute!

Hold off on buying anything else right now. A friend of mine is going to try to enlarge the logo a bit and make a transparent one for the black shirts....

I like them both, too. Lori's reminds me of reading in a park or coffee shop and Grace's reminds me more of an old world library. Both fabulous places to read!

Jeane, if you like the way the logo looks on the stuff now, by all means, buy it. But a friend of mine is changing the image format (from bitmap to jpeg since im computer clueless) and that will allow me to INCREASE the logos size on the merchandise. I will let you know once that is done. But like I said, if you like the way it looks now, buy now!!

Grace, that looks great. I dont have alot of software on my pc, but if you can find a way to clean that up and save it as a jpeg, I might be able to use it!!!!

Okay, my only critism was how small the logo is but is looks like that is going to change! YAY!!! I am so excited!!! I am going to buy a tote bag. I love tote bags... I can put my books in there!!!

I like Grace's. It tells the purpose of TNBBC better, imo. What about some magnets (big or small)? I can always use more magnets.

Me too. Lori her design makes me feel like I feel on here, not a secret group but a secret group for everyone that joins.and it makes people wonder what it stands for. I really like it.

oh. Thats too bad. Because if I take it as it is right now, it will show up exactly as you see it. The whole background and erase marks too....

I dont have any software here, thats why I sent my design to a friend to remove it from the background and compress the photo so I can post it as a larger logo....

Got my order today - that was quick! The hoodie fits perfectly. The logo on it is a bit small. The bag is wonderful, the logo on it is bigger and, I think, just right. Thanks for doing this, Lori!
