Even if that lamb chooses to wander away from his flock, the Shepherd still comes for him when he is lost. ** Blurb: Clover the Lamb is always up to mischief, but when she wanders too far and cries out for help, she learns the love and help of her Good Shepherd are always near. 100 Little Lambs is a playful read-aloud with heart, teaching young readers about the parable of the lost sheep and the constant love of their Savior. ** The rhyming cadence of the text makes this a great read aloud for your child, and the illustrations are adorable. This book would make a perfect addition to an Easter basket and I recommend it for anyone looking for books to help their children understand Jesus a little better....more
This is a darling little book all about our testimonies of spiritual truths and how those testimonies grow and change throughout our lives. I love the This is a darling little book all about our testimonies of spiritual truths and how those testimonies grow and change throughout our lives. I love the gentle symbolism of the tree, how it requires planting and tender care, though we do sometimes forget or make mistakes. But we can always improve and try again. I also really enjoyed the rhyming cadence of the book. This is a book I know I will enjoy with my children over and over. I’m always so grateful when we can find a book that breaks down complicated spiritual truths into bite-sized, easily understandable truths. And I absolutely adore the illustrations! Good illustrations always help tell the story with more meaning and depth, and Koa succeeds with that. I would recommend this book for young children, or even older children who are trying to understand testimony better. ...more

This book doeI love a book that teaches kids about things happening in the world in a way that isn’t scary, intimidating, or difficult to understand. This book does that very well! The Water Princess has to wake up early every morning to fetch the water her family will drink, wash with, and clean with that night. Then she wakes up the next morning and does it again. I think it’s made my kids both aware of the incredible struggles some people (too many people) in this world deal with to get water of any kind, let alone clean water, and appreciate the fact that they have running water any time they wish for it. The illustrations are beautiful, telling side stories all on their own. We love this book!...more

The prose has a delightful rhythm that’s so enjoyable to read and I love knowing that my children are hearing words telling them what God thinks of them and the amazing things they can do. This book is also stunningly beautiful! By now you know that illustrations mean a lot to me in how I feel about children’s books and @davidcatrow just doesn’t disappoint. My 2yo wants to “read” this every single night but all he wants is to look at the illustrations and make up noises each character must be making. He’s fun. ☺️ If you are at all interested in non-denominational Christian children’s books (that’s a dizzying sentence ...more
