The Traitors' Gate. I looooooved this one. it's YA but still REALLY good and my older sister loved it too. fast paced, you'll finish it in like a day. (even though it's pretty long)
I'll try and think of others....

I recommend the Cat Royal series(

It's especially good if you like small town life where everyone knows you :-)
For Tudor History (and other royal history) you can't go wrong with Philippa Gregory and Alison Weir. Alison Weir has helped many of the royal palaces with their history research etc. here in London.

Well. For regency/Edwardian period...
Jane Austen of course.
Or for more romance... I have just read all of Amanda Grange's stories and I loved them all.
If you want more in this category let me know. :)

I reserved the first book of the Stonewycke trilogy, but it appears that our libraries don't have the other books! Bummer. I shall have to ask around and see if people own them so I can borrow them. XP
.....if you read the first one you'll probably want to BUY the rest! LOL ;D its one of my fav series. along with Chuck Blacks two series, and the Arcrean Conquest series. ♥♥♥♥
