But when Wes Genrette reappears with a proposal to hunt down Blackbeard’s treasure, the Pogues find themselves heading on their most thrilling adventure yet. As with most of Netflix’s popular series, Season 4 will be released in two sections, with Part 1 dropping October 10 and Part 2 following November 7.
Season 4, Part 1 streaming on Netflix - CreatorAlice OsemanStarsKit ConnorJoe LockeWilliam GaoCharlie, a high-strung, openly gay overthinker, and Nick, a cheerful, soft-hearted rugby player, one day are made to sit together in class. Their friendship becomes something more for Charlie, but he does not believe he has a chance.Charlie and Nick’s relationship will (finally) steam up your chosen screen as “Heartstopper” returns for Season 3. The couple, whose romance has been rather G-rated until now, will head to Paris on a life-changing school trip with their mates from Truham and Higgs. “The show is growing up,” says Joe Locke, who has quicky become a generational icon alongside his co-star, Kit Connor. Whether Charlie and Nick will actuallysay“I Love You” this season is uncertain, but they better get to it, since creator Alice Oseman has said the series won’t run any longer than four seasons. There will be plenty of room in Season 3 to see what develops between Tao and Elle, as well as another fan-favorite couple, Tara and Darcy. Don’t be surprised if a fourth-and-final season announcement drops this fall.
Season 3 streaming on Netflix - CreatorIan McCullochStarsYvonne StrahovskiScott SpeedmanChaske SpencerTrapped on a farm in rural Georgia, a group of neighbors must put aside their differences and unite in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat. We have high hopes Peacock’s new horror show, which comes to us from series creator Ian McCulloch ( “Yellowstone” ) and executive producer James Wan (Saw,Aquaman). Based on Robert McCammon’s bestselling novel “Stinger,” the eight-episode series follows a group of neighbors who are forced to work together to survive a mysterious (possibly gas-masked) threat. If that plot sounds vague, it’s likely by design. During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con this past summer, McCulloch wouldn’t even reveal the meaning of the show’s title, saying instead that things would become clear to viewers within a few episodes. Yvonne Strahovski ( “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Dexter” ) and Scott Speedman (The Strangers,“You” ) bring their genre bonafides to this ensemble series, which will drop two 30-minute episodes weekly through Halloween.

- StarsEmily AtackHubert BurtonAntony ByrneFollows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a longstanding rivalry that comes to a head. All's fair in love and war this fall when Disney unveils its adaptation of novelist Jilly Cooper’s 1988 romantic dramedy. The series follows along as two titans of the English countryside butt heads in an increasingly tense conflict that threatens to boil over into their community. As an author Ms. Cooper was once dubbed “Queen of the Bonkbuster,” and we’re fairly certain the TV show will match the book’s outrageously steamy scenarios. David Tennant and Aidan Turner head up the cast as the titular rivals with stellar support from Claire Rushbrook, Lisa McGrillis, and Luke Pasqualino, among others.
Series premieres on Disney+ Oct.18 - StarsKayvan NovakMatt BerryNatasia DemetriouA look into the nightly lives of four vampires who have lived together on Staten Island for over a century.Life on Staten Island won’t be quite the same as vampire roommates Nandor, Nadja, Laszlo, and Colin Robinson sign off after six increasingly addictive seasons, but can’t we hold out hope for some sort of revival series when we’re dealing with immortals? In the final episodes, the household will refocus attention on their original mission to become conquerors of the new world, a plot that is reintroduced when their long-forgotten fifth roommate finally wakes up and rejoins the non-living. The show has always been gracious with its guest stars, and we’re looking forward to what comedian Mike O’Brien (you might recognize him from "SNL" or as the pizza guy fromBooksmart) gets up to as their long-slumbering roomie returns (though technically we've never met him yet).
Season 6 premieres on Hulu Oct. 21 - StarsRyoma TakeuchiKento KakuMunetaka AokiSet in 1995 and 2005, chronicles a Yakuza warrior's life, his childhood ties, and the consequences of his uncompromising sense of justice and duty. There are plenty of stories to explore in Prime Video’s newest video game adaptation “Like a Dragon: Yakuza.” Sega’s bestselling franchise includes eight games and an additional eight spin-off titles, not to mention several print publications, a feature film, and even a stage play. But series directors Masaharu Take and Kengo Takimoto have decided to start at the beginning with a six-episode inaugural season that adapts the franchise’s original 2005 release, “Yakuza,” and its 2016 remake “Yakuza Kiwami.”

- CreatorDebora CahnStarsKeri RussellRufus SewellDavid GyasiIn the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, lands in a high-profile job for which she is not suited, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future. We’re excited for the return of Kerri Russell as U.S. Ambassador Kate Wyler, but is it OK to turn a spotlight on Allison Janney for a sec? The Emmy and Oscar winner returns to the West Wing for a wicked turn as the new VP who is certain Wyler is gunning for her job. It's only the tip of this particular political iceberg since we already know Kate’s husband Hal (Rufus Sewell) survived the explosive Season 1 finale – and he might just be involved in the conspiracy that goes all the way up to the tippy-top of the British government. As this conspiracy unfurls, take any comfort you can knowing Season 3 has already been shot and it’s likely set for a 2025 premiere.
Season 2 premieres on Netflix Oct. 31 - StarsHugh DancyColman DomingoCharlie CoxThe animated series follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we've ever seen and a style that celebrates the character's early comic book roots. It’s the voice cast that has us most excited for this newest re-telling of Peter Parker’s origins as Spider-Man. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’onofrio will reprise their roles as Daredevil and Kingpin from elsewhere in the MCU, but it’s Coleman Domingo as Norman Osborn that has us most intrigued. The series, which is considered part of the larger cinematic universe, is set in an alternate timeline where Osborn takes on the role of Peter’s mentor rather than Tony Stark. Will the brilliant scientist still take up the mantle of the Green Goblin? Or will Peter Parker’s wholesome nature show Norman there’s another way?
Series premieres on Disney+ Nov. 2 - CreatorJohn LinsonTaylor SheridanStarsKevin CostnerLuke GrimesWes BentleyA ranching family in Montana faces off against others encroaching on their land.“Yellowstone” fans have been patiently waiting for the second half of Season 5 since January 2023, when the midseason ended with a “declaration of war” as Jamie moved forward with his plan to remove John Dutton from office. Production on the back half of the season was supposed to be underway in March 2023, but cast scheduling issues, Hollywood labor disputes, and the news that series star Kevin Costner would not be returning all contributed to slowing down the conclusion of the series. But is Season 5, Part 2 even really the finale? Rumors and reports seem to indicate there’s a chance actors Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are in talks to lead up a sixth season.
Season 5, part 2 premieres on Paramount+ Nov. 10 - CreatorBen WatkinsStarsAldis HodgeIsaiah MustafaJuanita JenningsSeries adaptation of James Patterson novels about the complicated and brilliant detective, Alex Cross.Fans of police procedurals are in for a treat this fall with a new series featuring James Patterson’s iconic detective Alex Cross. Aldis Hodge steps into the role previously played by Morgan Freeman and Tyler Perry, and Patterson has called Prime Video’s series “edgier” and “more realistic about police work” than previous adaptations of his books. With 31novels to draw from, Cross could be solving murders for decades. The show has already been green lit for a second season, so that’s a start.
Series premieres on Prime Video Nov. 14 - CreatorGraham YostStarsRebecca FergusonShane McRaeCommonMen and women live in a giant silo underground with several regulations which they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic and ruined world on the surface. This Apple TV+ series left audiences at the edge of their seats in 2023 when Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) stepped outside the safety of the silo to certain death. But the rebellious engineer survived and headed off into the unknown, much to the chagrin of Bernard (Tim Robbins), Robert (Common), and the rest of the silo’s secret keepers. Expect even more shocking twists in Season 2 as Juliette’s trek reveals a devastating truth about the world she thought she knew. Steve Zahn joins the cast in a role that is guaranteed to be the emotional gut-punch of the 10-episode sophomore season.

Season 7 premieres on STARZ Nov. 22 - StarsTed DansonMary Elizabeth EllisLilah Richcreek EstradaCharles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private investigator and becomes a mole in a secret investigation in a nursing home.Did you know Ted Danson is reuniting with “The Good Place” creator Michael Schur for a Netflix comedy series? It’s one of those things that feels like a reward for good behavior. Danson stars as a man of a certain age who’s hired by a private investigator to ferret out the wrongdoings at an elderly care facility. The eight-episode freshman season features Mary Elizabeth Ellis ( “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” ), the highly recognizable and lovable Stephen McKinley Henderson (Dune,Fences, and handfuls of other roles), and the eternal Sally Struthers (!). The series serves as a milestone for the former Sam Malone: Danson now holds the record for the most scripted primetime television series roles in history.
Series expected on Netflix Nov. 2024 - CreatorChristopher FordJon WattsStarsJude LawKerry CondonRyan Kiera ArmstrongFour kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy.“Skeleton Crew” wants to remind us of the early, kid-focused days of the Star Wars saga. The story finds four young people trying to get back to their home planet after stumbling upon a buried Jedi temple, then getting whisked away into the galaxy. Fans are trying to figure out how Jude Law's character Jod will factor into the story since he's not canon, but he appears to be Force-sensitive in the first trailer. We might feel like we're hanging over a precipice if it turns out to be one-and-done for the series. According to sobering leaked news, Disney is looking to halt/slow down production of SW shows. If this is true, and Law let it be known we’ll only get a read on his character in the season finale, it could cause more backlash for the franchise, which has taken some hits of late.

Inside, a tempting prize awaits with deadly high stakes: a survival game that has a whopping 45.6 billion-won prize at stake. It’s somehow fitting it was a letter to shareholders that confirmed this popular satire series would be returning to TV in 2024. No details have been revealed on where the show will go next or who will be involved in production, but we feel certain we haven’t seen the last of the Masked Men and their life-or-death stakes competition.
Season 2 premieres on Netflix Dec. 26 - CreatorTaylor SheridanFounded when Comanches still ruled West Texas, no ranch in America is more steeped in the history of the West than the 6666. Still operating as it did two centuries before, and encompassing an entire county, the 6666 is where the rule of law and the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing one does is the next thing. The 6666 is synonymous with the merciless endeavor to raise the finest horses and livestock in the world, and ultimately, where world class cowboys are born and made.Taylor Sheridan's ever expanding TV universe continues to grow with this latest "Yellowstone"spin-off. Fans of the show will recognize the title as the name of the Four Sixes Ranch in Texas (not the year 6666, which would make for a very interesting timeline jump for the Dutton family). At the time of this writing, casting has not been announced, but most bets are onJefferson WhiteandKathryn Kellymaking the jump to this series, as Jimmy and Emily have spent some time at the ranch during Season 5 of "Yellowstone."
Season 1 expected in 2024 - StarsGabriel BassoLuciane BuchananFola Evans-AkingbolaLow-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland works in the basement of the White House manning a phone that never rings - until the night it does, propelling him into a conspiracy that leads all the way to the Oval Office. The series that brought FBI agent Peter Sutherland out of the White House’s basement and made actorGabriel Bassoa household name became a global hit last spring, causing Netflix to ring the line with a Season 2 renewal soon after it debuted. Originally, showrunnerShawn Ryan(the genre expert behind “The Shield,”“Lie to Me”) envisioned a new storyline for each potential new season, though it’s hard to imagine the romance between Sutherland and tech entrepreneur Rose Larkin taking a back seat, even as he’s dispatched on his first overseas assignment and she’s potentially headed back to California to rebuild her life out there.
Season 2 expected in 2024 - CreatorGreg BerlantiSera GambleStarsPenn BadgleyVictoria PedrettiTati GabrielleA dangerously charming, intensely obsessive young man goes to extreme measures to insert himself into the lives of those he is transfixed by.Joe Goldberg will return to New York City for a potential reckoning with his past in the fifth and final season of the addictive Netflix series that saw the book-loving serial killer embrace a new year/new me mentality over four increasingly implausible seasons. Season 4 saw Joe, living in London as Professor Jonathan Moore, dissociate across 10 episodes and finally acknowledge the fact he isn’t a good person. StarPenn Badgley, whose industry savvy and hunk status increased exponentially from his “Gossip Girl”era, has said the final season will see Joe explore a new stage of self-actualization. And as we saw in the final moments of S4, at least one of people who crossed his path and lived to tell about it will return in Season 5.
