Can we really say that we are all equal? I would like to think we are able to do so - but the truth of the matter is, that many do not see it that way. And a lot of people in power have that outlook. Especially when it comes to "foreigners" - alien people to their own country. Fortunately there are others who will fight for those who get discriminated against. It is not an easy thing to know who to trust at times, especially when the system is trying to... put one down, screw one over to say it "politically correct" I reckon.
I was wondering what the main male protagonist was getting out of helping (or trying to help) others? But that is the wrong way to look at things - and while some may not be able to pay him back (not money wise, general speaking), it feels like the helping part is what is reward enough for him! Seeing others overcome obstacles. That is what the movie is about - for better or worse - and like it or not! Very well made and something that shines a light on something you may not be aware of.
