The title of this film in Japanese is "Kishibe no Tabi". The Chinese character used in Kishibe is the same one used in "Higan". Higan is the equinox event in Japan in which it is believed that dead relatives come back for a visit. Of course it happens in Spring and Autumn.
Yaga station, where Michan and Yusuke first go to, is in the Yamakita area of east Kanagawa. Its on the Gotemba line which is near Mount Fuji.
