A lot happened in Re:Zero Season 3 episode 2. Not only did the Witch Cult kidnap Emilia, but they also took the whole of Priestella city hostage, demanding that they hand over the remains of a Witch that lay buried somewhere in the city.

On top of that, Garfiel and Mimi are having their own problems to deal with, as Gorgeous Tiger got to meet his long lost mother, and was now put in a difficult spot. However, after coming to terms with his emotions, Garfiel has now taken the decision to rescue his half siblings and their father from the grasp of the evilCapellaEmerada Lugunica.

Re:Zero Season 3’s previous episode ended on a cliffhanger, with yet another Archbishop of the Witch Cult joining the battle. Not only did this complicate things forSubaru,the worst part was that the Archbishop of Greed, Regulus Corneas, was holding an unconscious Emilia in his hands.

Re:Zero Season 3 episode 3 will bring the battle with the Archbishops to an end, and explore more of what is happening across Priestella city. Apparently, these two aren’t the only enemies who have landed in the Water Gate City. What exactly are their intentions?

In what was a weird and haunting sequence,Subarufell victim to the Sin Archbishop of Wrath’s powers, causing him to return by death. And naturally, in Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 2, Subaru will try to find a way to counteract the Witch Cult’s scheme.

Compared to the previous episode, the second one will be more action packed, as both Emilia andBeatriceenter the fray to support Subaru in his fight.
