Christine Jun(II)
- Actress
Christine is a Korean-American actress known for "The Meadow." She that took an interest in acting when she auditioned for her high school's musical theater production of "Cinderella." At the time, she was cast as a wallflower in the background, but this soon blossomed into a career pursuit.
Growing up as an Asian-American in a small town in Colorado, there wasn't much opportunity that fit her demographic but this roadblock didn't stop her. She began training intensively in theatre, commercial and film acting via school, workshops and private coaching to make herself a more versatile Method actor.
Christine found herself yearning for the bigger city life in L.A. to pursue her dream. She landed a few internships during college but ended up getting discouraged and sought a safety net instead and ended up joining the Army.
After a few short months of Basic Training and Officer Candidate School, Christine commissioned as an Army officer and would end up stationed in Hawai'i. While her service felt meaningful, it wasn't her passion. The voice inside her head and the natural magnetic pull toward acting still screamed within every fiber of her being.
After separating from the Army, she began her pursuit of acting once again. As fate would have it, several opportunities presented themselves while she lived in Hawai'i. She found herself diving onto as much work as she could muster on major network shows such Hawaii Five-O and Magnum P.I. and feature films like The Wrong Missy and Godzilla vs. Kong, and Triple Frontier. Her Army training and background proved to work in her favor as she brought a very stoic presence to the military type roles she was cast in.
Christine continues to train and educate herself in the acting craft to hone and diversify her skill set for future leading roles.
