M.K. Wood

M. K. started her work in the comics world while still managing part-time at a local pizza place. In 2010, she got her break working for Dark Brain Comics and was able to leave the regular workforce behind. She's been illustrating comics steadily, since, and tends to dabble in all aspects of the comic industry, even in experimental flash and audio drama style comic presentations. As of 2016 works as the artist for Mysteries of the Arcana, and part time colorist for Grrl Power by Dave Barrack, and has recently begun contributing art for 3rd Party Pathfinder supplements. She has lent her voice to several amateur projects. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she came out publicly as a transgender woman. She still works behind the scenes as an editor, visual effects designer, and audio engineer for a multitude of projects.
