Alternate versions

The edited VHS releases by FUNimation cuts out the nudity and blood.

The original Japanese version had a special title card shown before the TV special as well as eyecatcher commercial breaks. These were originally cut on the FUNImation DVDs released in 2000 but was restored for the 2008 DVD release from FUNimation.

For the Toonami broadcast, all blood is cut or censored.

The original FUNimation VHS and DVD cuts out the Toei 'Waves and Rocks' logo before the film starts, as well as the eye-catcher bumpers.
