Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball has featured many eccentric partnerships that were unexpected, but the one that fans believe to be the most confusing was Gohan and Future Trunks. In the series’ future, where the world is ruined by Androids, Future Gohan is Future Trunks’ mentor. In fact, he is the only person Future Trunks relied on, and they have a great relationship.

However, this great relationship is doubted by many fans to this day because it was never really focused on when Future Trunks came to the present and met Gohan. He only revealed that he was trained by Future Gohan, and after that, he didn’t even have a proper interaction with the present Gohan. This seemed a little odd, considering their bond.
