For Pamela Anderson, Gia Coppola’s drama The Last Showgirl was an opportunity she’d been awaiting for her entire life.

“It was such a relief to … be able to do a real film,” said the star, who rose to fame in Playboy and on Baywatch, in a sit-down Saturday at Deadline’s Contenders Los Angeles. “I mean, this is the first script I ever read that was a good one. The “Baywatch” icon has taken an ownership stake in a soon-to-launch free ad-supported streaming channel on Pluto TV dedicated to environmental-themed content. EarthDay 365 channel makes its debut on Feb. 5 exclusively on the leading free streaming TV service in the “Animals + Nature” category.

The channel marks a partnership between Anderson and K2 Studios, the IMAX format documentary film studio and unscripted TV producer/distributor. Baywatch star Nicole Eggert announced that she has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.

Eggert said something didn’t feel right recently when she observed rapid weight gain and pain in her left breast. The actress thought she was going through menopause. After having mammograms and biopsies in November, a pathology report confirmed that she had stage 2 cribriform carcinoma.

Eggert said she’ll have to go under the knife and is awaiting news as to when chemo and radiation will start.

She stated that she has anxieties about the cancer metastasizing. “I have panics where I’m like, just get this out of me,” she said. “You sit there and it’s in you and you’re like, every second that passes and it’s inside of me. It’s growing, and you’re just like, you just want it out.”

Her daughter, Keegan, 12, is giving her inspiration to get through the fight.

The 55-year-old actress shared her frustration on Instagram and stated that certain photos had to be removed to lift the shadow ban imposed on her account due to the actions of a group of women.

Jason Momoa took the reins as Saturday Night Live host this week and mentioned his love of playing DC superhero Aquaman and how it has been a full-circle moment for him.

It's been nearly forty years, but people still remember "The A-Team." The action adventure series went on for five seasons, but stuck around in the public consciousness for much, much longer. People still remember the theme song, the cartoonish violence, the catchphrases. But although many viewers throughout the 2000s wanted a revival of the show, the TV series itself never came back.

Instead, we got a feature film in 2010 starring an updated A-Team, with the characters being veterans of the Iraq War instead of veterans of Vietnam. The film underperformed at the box office, however, and they never made a sequel. Unlike "21 Jump Street," a franchise where the later movies have now long-since overshadowed the TV show for most younger viewers, when people of all ages today think of "The A-Team," they're still almost certainly thinking of the show.
