Sister Wives has had a long run with their nineteen seasons. During that time, there have been many comparisons of Meri, Janelle, Christine, Robyn, and Kody Brown to other people and shows. But after the latest episode, fans spot a specific scene that they can’t help but compare to the likes of Honey Boo Boo.
All The Drama
Without a doubt, TLC has the art of capturing drama in shows such as Sister Wives and Honey Boo Boo. In many cases, they become the trainwreck that fans can’t look away from. While some people think that Kody Brown and his crew are heading for the end of Sister Wives, others know how much viewers like to see the drama unfold. Long-time fans met Honey Boo Boo during Toddlers & Tiaras and could resist watching her and her family in Honey Boo Boo. Unmistakably, Honey Boo Boo was a...

Fox struck gold with the crime procedural "Bones," a show that ran for a whopping 12 seasons and nearly 250 episodes. It's the kind of show that simply doesn't come around anymore in the streaming era. A lot of the show's success can be chalked up to the dynamic between the lead characters, namely Emily Deschanel's Brennan and David Boreanaz's Booth. But the show also had a stellar supporting cast, with perhaps none more beloved than Lance Sweets. Played by John Francis Daley, the character was a huge part of the show's success. Unfortunately, Sweets didn't go the distance.
As fans of the show are surely aware, Daley left "Bones" during season 10 as Sweets was killed off. Unfortunately, in a muder-of-the-week procedural, a beloved character is sometimes going to die. That's just the nature of the beast. But what exactly...

"Game Night" is one of the best comedies of the last decade, a fantastic film following a group of friends who gather for a game night before the fun turns into a nightmare after one of them is kidnapped for real. Part mystery, part David Fincher's "The Game" (but played for laughs), and otherwise all-round mayhem, the movie features Rachel McAdams at her absolute best, one of the all-time greatest side characters in Jesse Plemons' Gary, and one of Jason Bateman's strongest performances.
However, Bateman almost had a very different role in the film, which he also produced. You see, the film went into development back in 2013 when New Line bought an original script by Mark Perez (which was likewise about a game night that goes wrong), and for much of that time Bateman was slated to direct the film. As the actor once told CinemaBlend, "I had...

Exclusive: Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) and Billy Magnussen (Roadhouse) have been set to star in Steve Pink’s out-there horse racing comedy Chariot.
This sounds a fun one. The synopsis reads: “Paul Rovia, an oversized jockey, seeks redemption after causing a major racing accident that gets him suspended from the sport for two years. Desperate to compete in the Grand National again, Paul teams up with Kate O’Leary and her wild Centaur named Chariot. Pink is known for writing Grosse Pointe Blank and High Fidelity and directed Hot Tub Time Machine, About Last Night and most recently The Wheel.

Billy Magnussen is used to playing a beefcake. His first big job was on the soap opera As the World Turns. In Into the Woods, his version of Rapunzel’s Prince wore leather pants even when riding a horse. He served as the resident hunk among the ensembles in Game Night and The Big Short. These castings, flattering as they might be, haven’t always reflected the man himself, a classically trained actor who has a Tony nomination (for 2013’s Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike).
But in his latest role, Magnussen, 39, finally has found something a little more relatable, one that simultaneously fuels his character’s ego and leaves him plagued by self-doubt.
The satirical series The Franchise centers around the ill-fated production of a fictional superhero film whose big-budget snafus (an emergency pro-feminism rewrite, disputes over which actors get the biggest superpowers) poke fun at Hollywood’s IP obsession.

Just in time for a Halloween binge, Hysteria! is now available on Peacock and, having seen most of the series already, I can definitely say that it's worth your time. An 80s-set horror story that doesn't feel like it's focused on nostalgia, Hysteria! has a great cast with great chemistry, and it really does a great job of building up its characters, including its supporting cast, which features Bruce Campbell as the chief of police in a town where satanic panic takes hold. During a recent press day, I caught up with Bruce Campbell, where we talked about his new role and his experience with satanic panic in the 1980s.
Synopsis: "When a beloved varsity quarterback disappears during the “Satanic Panic” of the late 1980s, a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts realize they can capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by building a...

The DC Universe has numerous projects in the pipeline, including a TV series centered on Booster Gold. Currently, we have little information about the show other than its announcement, but James Gunn has stated that just because something is announced doesn’t guarantee it will be released.
A few months ago, credible sources began reporting that Eternals star Kumail Nanjiani was cast in the role, which disappointed some fans who felt he didn’t physically match the character.
This speculation is particularly heightened given that fans have favored actors like Antony Starr and Chris Pratt for the role. Nanjiani has frequently been seen with James Gunn and the Superman cast at various events, fueling further rumors.
Recently, James Gunn shared an image showcasing the confirmed roles for the DC Universe, which included Nanjiani as Booster Gold. When asked if this was a confirmation of Nanjiani’s casting, Gunn responded with a clear “no.

Dcu has plenty of projects in development, just one of many is a TV series focusing on Booster Gold. We know nothing about the show at this point, only that it’s been announced. However, James Gunn recently said that just beacuse something was announced, doesn’t mean it’s going to get released.
A couple of months ago, credible sources started reporting that ‘Eternals’ actor Kumail Nanjiani has been cast in the role. Fans were disappointed since Nanjiani doesn’t physically fit with the role.
Especially in light of the fact that actors such as Antony Starr and Chris Pratt have been put as the favorites for the role by fans. Nanjiani has been often seen with James Gunn and the cast of ‘Superman’ at other events which further strengthened the speculations.

Jason Bateman has gone real no-more-Mr. Nice Guy on us.
The “Ozark,” “Horrible Bosses,” and “Game Night” star puts on a domestic-terrorist face (and hat) in the teaser for Netflix Christmas movie “Carry-On.” It’s, ah, not exactly “Elf.”
In “Carry-On,” before Bateman can terrorize a Christmas Eve flight, he first must make Taron Egerton’s job a living hell. Oh, and he might just kill the young Tsa agent’s significant other, played by Sofia Carson, as well.
“One bag for one life,” is Bateman’s blackmail offer.
We’re guessing he doesn’t have Clear.
Basically, Bateman targets Egerton to let his mysterious suitcase through the security scanners and onto the airplane. We don’t quite know (yet) what is in the package, but considering the gunfire and Tom Cruise-esque sprinting through the airport, Bateman’s cargo is probably a bit worse than nail clippers.

Recently, Sister Wives viewers see additional evidence that Kody and Robyn Brown’s lifestyle attracts clutter. But comparing history, outside information, and the current filming, fans wonder if they need the skills of a “Hoarder Interventionalist’?
Kody And Robyn Brown Collect Many Things
Undeniably, Sister Wives viewers have noticed that Kody and Robyn Brown limit filming in their house. However, loyal fans have pieced together the couples’ living style after watching for years. Previously, viewers have caught that Robyn’s house has many figurines, boxes, and an abundance of artwork. Likewise, when the listing for their Flagstaff, Az home hit the market, fans were appalled by the amount of things still in the home. Furthermore, Janelle Brown even called them out for their frivolous spending habits. But now, does filming prove that Robyn needs an intervention?

Anybody down for a Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness reunion? No, we've not got confirmation of a Doctor Strange 3 directed by Sam Raimi just yet (although we do live in hope) — but we are getting word that one of the stars of the Evil Dead director's first foray into the MCU could be about to team up on a new horror thriller. According to Deadline, Rachel McAdams is circling a starring role in Send Help, a 20th Century Studios chiller on which Raimi will serve as both producer and director.
As we reported back in July, Send Help — based on an original script from Baywatch writing duo Damian Shannon and Mark Swift — is currently being pitched as an island-set two-hander that falls somewhere between Rob Reiner's Misery and Robert Zemeckis' Cast Away. Further details on the plot however remain strictly under wraps at this point in time,...

Rachel McAdams is in talks to star in Sam Raimi’s Send Help, the horror-thriller from 20th Century Studios, which he is producing and directing.

Almost everyone in Hollywood has participated, or at least been reported to be participating, in a superhero property. It's simply the latest big trend that employs everyone in a union (unless you're a VFX worker), just like crime procedurals employed every actor who later broke big once upon a time. Whether a celebrated and legendary actor like Harrison Ford, or an indie director like Ryan Coogler, no one is safe from the superhero movie industrial complex.
The latest beloved actor to join a superhero franchise is Kyle Chandler, the greatest dad actor, who has been tapped to star as Hal Jordan in the Green Lantern TV series that is part of James Gunn's fledgling DC universe. Accepting the responsibility of the Power Ring and fight for the Green Lantern Corps, Chandler reportedly beat rumored contenders for the role like Josh Brolin. The Green Lantern TV show is set to...

The last several years of working on the “Only Murders in the Building” set have been filled with tons of pinch-me moments for Michael Cyril Creighton. But in Season 4 in particular, the actor jokes he’s been “extremely bruised.”
“I’d walk in and I’d be working with Eva Longoria, who I’m a giant fan of; or I’d be watching Eugene Levy do a scene. And then to get to spar with Zach Galifianakis, that wasn’t on my bingo card. I didn’t know that was going to happen, and it is one of my favorite things I’ve done on screen,” the actor told TheWrap. “It’s always surprising and exciting to walk on that set, because you just don’t know what legend you’re going to be acting with that day.”

The devil is in the details, or in the case of Hysteria!, in a local heavy metal band.
Hysteria! is one of two original series Peacock has lined up to scare the bejesus out of viewers this Halloween.
The other is Teacup, based on Robert McCammon’s 1988 science fiction horror novel Stinger, set to premiere on October 10.
(Photo: NBCU)
Horror icon Bruce Campbell guest stars in Hysteria! as the town’s police chief, so you know it’s going to be good.
Here’s everything else we know so far about Hysteria!
What is Hysteria About?
Set in the fictional town of Happy Hallow, Michigan, in the 1980s, Hysteria! explores the “satanic panic” of that era.
The story follows a group of high school kids who decide to put the pedal to the metal, literally, by rebranding their heavy metal band as a Satanic metal band.
Why would they do such a devilish thing?...

John Francis Daley may not be a household name per se, but he and his writing/directing partner Jonathan Goldstein have cultivated a small fandom who get excited by just seeing their credits in a trailer or poster. They co-wrote "Horrible Bosses" and the fantastic "Spider-Man: Homecoming," directed one of the best comedies of the past decade in "Game Night," and recently helmed the fantastically underrated fantasy adventure "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves." As an actor, he's also been a part of two beloved and hugely popular TV shows, as Sam on "Freaks and Geeks" and in his role as the nerdy and youthful criminal profiler Dr. Lance Sweets on "Bones."
Sweets was a key member of the "Bones" family for 138 of the 246 episodes of the series, even as Daley kickstarted his screenwriting career. Once Daley and Goldstein also made the jump to directing with the 2015 remake of "Vacation,...

Julie Bowen is returning to TV in Peacock’s “Hysteria!” and things are getting spooky, that is, if they’re even real.
In the teaser for “Hysteria!,” released Monday, the “Modern Family” star goes about her day cooking and cleaning as a 1980s housewife until a strange interruption causes the lights to flicker and her house to shake.
By the time the event stops, Bowen thinks she’s in the clear — until she spots the face of a demon in her microwave, which proceeds to splatter into red globs.
The new series, which also stars Anna Camp (“Pitch Perfect”) and Bruce Campbell (“The Evil Dead,” “Army of Darkness”), will debut on Friday, Oct. 18, on Peacock, USA Network and Syfy. All episodes will be available on Peacock, while USA Network and Syfy will simulcast the premiere episode on Oct. 18 with USA Network airing new episodes each Friday.

Coming later this month from Archie Comics is the one-shot Chilling Adventures Presents: Truth or Dare, billed as an homage to the late ’90s/early ’00s teen horror wave.
This brand new tale is part of Archie’s “Chilling Adventures Presents” anthology series, dedicated to standalone one-shots with the vibe of Creepshow and Tales from the Crypt.
In Truth or Dare, “When new student Trula Twyst comes to Riverdale, her mysterious and quiet nature doesn’t mix well with the squeaky-clean façade of Riverdale High. Tormented by her past and with a keen interest in Behavioral Psychology, she sets her sights on dismantling the traditional high school hierarchy from within. How? By a simple game of Truth or Dare.”
The Archie Comics team tells Bloody Disgusting this week, “This horror one shot is smart, sexy, and for fans of movies like Escape Room, Saw, and Girl, Interrupted.”

After being rumored last week, Variety has confirmed that Academy Award-nominee Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin; Edge of Tomorrow; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) has joined the cast of Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios' upcoming Spider-Noir live-action series as the show's lead villain.
Further details on his role were unavailable, but it seems probable that he'll be playing Spider-Man Noir's archnemesis Norman Osborn, who in this universe is a ruthless crime lord, with a vast criminal empire that is involved in a variety of illegal enterprises, including, but not limited to, bootlegging, gambling, and human trafficking. His activities ultimately put him in the path of our hero, who, throughout the comic miniseries, is seeking to bring justice to the corrupt and crime-ridden streets of New York.

Kinds of Kindness stars Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons are at it again! The duo is teaming up with Poor Things filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos for the filmmaker’s next feature-length film project, Bugonia. The Will Tracy-written film arrives in theaters on November 7, 2025.
According to the film’s description, Bugonia revolves around “two conspiracy-obsessed young men who kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.” While the plot sounds slightly off-beat for a Yorgo Lanthimos joint, I’ll remind you that the Poor Things director is unafraid of getting weird for the camera, making Bugonia one of 2025’s most intriguing releases.
If the plot for Bugonia sounds familiar, it’s because the project is based on the South Korean sci-fi comedy Save the Green Planet, written and directed by Jang Joon-Hwan. I saw Save the Green Planet! years ago...

Spider-Man 4 rumors are running wild, but the potential involvement of Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan has to be the craziest of them all. The film has already been through a number of plausible directors, but none seem to fit the requirements of either Sony or Marvel. One industry insider took the time to call out the false information about Spider-Man 4 directors, and he debunked the theories about four famous filmmakers.
Some wild speculations are circulating online about the director of the next Spider-Man project after No Way Home
Finding a replacement for Jon Watts, who directed the first three movies, hasn’t been easy. Both Marvel and Sony look to create a phenomenal film that could outperform the box office of Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, their visions for the fourth film are very different.

With every role, Jason Bateman established and built on his legacy over the last four decades. Be it as a child star in the ubiquitous great American classic, Little House on the Prairie, or his status as a teenage heartthrob in Teen Wolf, or his dramatic achievement in the Emmy-winning Netflix series, Ozark, Bateman’s range, style, and talent has never failed to deliver on screen.

Hunting for the Hag begins with Tara sitting across the table from a rather sceptical lawyer who keeps telling her the footage on her laptop won’t help her out of the mess she’s in. She reminds him that he was the one who contacted her, and if he doesn’t actually watch the footage, or she’s leaving.
The footage also begins with Tara, noticeably lacking the facial scar she had in the opening scenes, introducing herself as we find out that she, along with her friends Beth and Candy are setting out to get footage of the entity known as The Hawthorne Hag (Nathan Brandon Gaik; Dead Bodies Everywhere).

Billy Magnussen always understands the assignment. Whatever the medium or genre, the actor manages to stand out with an impressive range. He has literally played a Disney prince — twice! — in the film versions of “Into the Woods” and “Aladdin.” He earned a Tony nomination for his role as a dimwitted young lover in “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” and has stood out in ensemble films like “Game Night” and “The Big Short.”
But Magnussen also excels at playing the bad guy, such as the tech billionaire who installs a tracking device in his ex-wife in “Made for Love” to a Nazi officer in “The Survivor.” But never more deliciously than in “Road House,” a reimaging of the 1989 Patrick Swayze classic. The new version, hitting Amazon Prime Video this week, stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a former UFC fighter who becomes a bouncer at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys.

“Days of our Lives” fans will see an unfamiliar face in a familiar role when soap newcomer Natasha Hall temporarily replaces Jessica Serfaty as Sloan Petersen for at least three episodes during the week of March 4-8, 2024.

"Bones" fans were delivered a crushing blow when FBI Psychologist Lance Sweets was killed off. Not only did John Francis Daley's fan-favorite character die, but he was beaten to death by a Navy Seal in a parking garage. It was a brutal send-off for a character who was a staple of the show for seven seasons. In many cases, an actor leaving a show after so much time would be met with a great deal of shared emotion from the cast and crew. That's not exactly how it went down for Daley on his last day.
In a 2014 interview with TVLine, Daley discussed his character's departure from the long-running Fox TV show. The actor explained how his final day of filming went down and, unfortunately, it wound up being a very lonely experience for him. Much like the character's send-off, the actor's last day was pretty brutal. Here's what...

John Francis Daley and his writing/directing partner Jonathan Goldstein are not exactly what you might call household names just yet, although they've assuredly achieved "Oh neato, it's those two!" status. With writing credits on "Horrible Bosses" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming," plus their efforts as directors on "Game Night" and "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves," Daley and Goldstein have cemented themselves as aficionados at merging cheeky humor with well-crafted action and wholehearted drama -- so much so that it's easy to forget Daley had a full-blooded acting career before he turned to filmmaking.
Fans of Paul Feig's "Freaks and Geeks" will recall that Daley played series lead Sam Weir on the cult classic teen dramedy series, kicking off his run as a television actor in the process. He would go on to have recurring roles on "The Geena Davis Show" and "Kitchen Confidential" before signing up to play Lance Sweets,...

The Lilo & Stitch movie is currently filming in Hawaii and we have some photos from set!
Billy Magnussen is playing the role of Agent Pleakley and he was spotted in costume on set on Monday (February 5) in Oahu, Hawaii.
In the Disney animated movie, Pleakley was an alien sent to Earth by the United Galactic Federation to prevent Dr. Jumba Jookiba from harming anything or anyone on Earth while they look for Stitch.
It was believed by many that Billy would just be voicing the role of Pleakley and the character would be created using CGI, but it appears the character might be human after all.
Billy is best known for roles in movies like Into the Woods, Game Night, Aladdin, and No Time to Die, as well as the series Made for Love.
One of the actors cast in the movie had to be recast amid a controversy.

When you're a long-running network TV series with 20-plus hours of material to deliver every season, you're inevitably going to take some wild swings to meet your quota. "Bones" was as formulaic as any other television procedural, but it had a good deal more personality and would find ways to spice things up now and then. Sometimes that meant a break in format, like when it showed an entire episode from the perspective of a victim's skull. Other times, that meant inviting further "X-Files" comparisons by forcing its investigating heroes to uncover the truth behind what appears to be an extraordinary crime.
In season 6, episode 19, "The Truth in the Myth," the power couple of forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and FBI agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) are tasked with looking into the death of Lee Coleman (Leigh McCloskey), a myth-buster -- not that kind -- who hosted...

John Francis Daley is one of the most exciting comedic voices working today. Together, he and his writing/directing partner Jonathan Goldstein have given us such fantastic movies as "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves," and "Game Night," as well as the screenplay for "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Their scripts strike the right balance between fantastical and relatability, and the duo has an eye for turning even the smallest moment into a visual spectacle.
But before that, and even shortly before they made their feature writing debut with "Horrible Bosses," the two collaborated on the script of an episode of the hit Fox series "Bones." Daley was no stranger to "Bones," as he played the recurring role of psychologist Lance Sweets starting in season 3.
For season 6, Daley got the chance to write an episode about the corpse of a myth-busting TV show host found in West Virginia, amidst rumors of a chupacabra attack.
