The series doesn't focus on violence, and even when it happens (with some blood), it is never graphic or gory. However, it is never glorified and is presented in a realistic and quite harrowing way.
A girl is found unconscious and beaten in a shed and left to freeze to death, but is saved. No blood is present, but the girl is barely dressed and severely bruised. The scene is extremely disturbing and horrifying.

Highly emotional and intense, with some disturbing scenes and images
This show's story is about the protagonist preventing the kidnapping and murder of innocent children. There are moments that are darker because of dealing with themes of domestic abuse. Many scenes are intense and extremely emotional.
A boy is riding in a car. The scene and music change to an eerie mood to reveal that someone in the car is a murderer. The environment turns red and the murderer has a ghastly smile and blood red eyes.
A man locks a child in a car, which he drives into a river (he escapes), intending to drown the boy. Very intense.
