Juan Carlos Gil was born in 1971 in Cali - Colombia, where he studied communications in the Universidad del Valle. For 28 years he has worked in hundreds of commercial spots and the most important movies the last decades in his country. He is a Cinematographer and Photographer, known for Perro come perro (2008), La Sangre y la Lluvia (2009), Tierra en la Lengua (2014), Que Viva la Música / Liveforever (2015) and Lavaperros (2020). Also he has worked in Netflix series such as Narcos-Season 3 (2017) and Wild District- Season 1 & 2 (2018-2019). His last project was Goles en Contra (2022) will be released coming soon.
