- Unexpected honor for the Wolfratshausen police station: On the occasion of the highest clear-up rate in all of Bavaria, the entire team was personally invited to Munich by police chief Manfred Kröpf. While Police Councilor Girwidz is already receiving the certificate in the presence of Police Sergeant Sonja Wirth and Police Chief Martin Riedl, Hubert and Staller are late for the celebrations - not only have they gotten hopelessly lost in the urban jungle, they are also keeping the suicidal spirit on the way to the police headquarters Anna Schmitt before jumping to her death from her balcony. The fact that the desperate lady is the partner of Deputy Chief of Police Markus Wieser causes additional inconveniences. Meanwhile, the President uses the meeting to win over the Wolfratshausen residents for a nationwide fight against drugs in the state capital. In particular, red light giant Stefan Wilde, with his contacts reaching far into the surrounding area, is a thorn in the side of the president. Girwidz promises his support and learns in a one-on-one conversation that the chief of police has other things to worry about: the Munich presidium has been criticized for months, and there is talk of drug trafficking, extortion and even murder. The chief of police fears a black sheep in his own ranks and the Wolfratshauser should help him to find it. Then the latecomers Hubert and Staller burst into the conversation and the chief of police invites Girwidz to his house to continue the secret conversation. Cooperation with Munich - "Unter Wölfen" When Girwidz arrives there the next morning, he finds the police chief Kröpf murdered. Kröpf's wife initially believes that Girwidz is the murderer and calls her husband's colleagues for help. A little later, Hubert and Staller as well as the Munich investigators Sebastian Kurz and Melanie Eder arrive at the crime scene and there are the first disputes over jurisdiction. After all, both parties agree: the chief of police fell victim to a burglar he had caught red-handed. Hubert and Staller are already annoyed and want to leave the field when Girwidz swears his team in a passionate speech to cooperate with their Munich colleagues in order to solve the heinous crime as quickly as possible and to comply with the President's last wish for supra-regional cooperation. Of course, he secretly wishes that Hubert and Staller would work as internal investigators. Even if there are many indications of a burglar, Girwidz fears that the "black sheep" could have murdered the police chief. He lets Hubert and Staller in on his delicate suspicions. The two not only have absolutely no desire for the new colleagues from the city, but also wonder how they should investigate with and against their colleagues at the same time, and the Wolfratshausen district also fears competition from Munich. Because Girwidz could not refuse the son of the murdered police chief, Niklas Kröpf, for an internship, Riedl now has to fear that he will soon be completely superfluous. as dr When Anja Licht examines the dead man and finds a packet of drugs in his clothes, it quickly becomes clear that the burglar theory is no longer tenable. In order to have an advantage over their Munich colleagues, Hubert and Staller initially conceal the find, set off on their own and pay a visit to the alleged Munich drug king Stefan Wilde in his Munich club.
- Dependable Max Lindner and his loutish best mate since childhood Philip 'Fibbes' plan to celebrate graduating from Münich in a Colorado snowboarding camp, but when Max's father Ludwig is incapacitated indefinitely they decide to cancel till further notice to save the Lindner family business, a ski inn in Hochtal, Bavarian Alps (Southern Germany). Then they decide to do even better: behind conservative Ludwig's back they create a snowboarder heaven of their own, 'Powder Park', despite vicious sabotage from the nasty mayor Hubertus Sailer. Besides the business side and the young, sometimes troublesome guests, the studly boys, soon joined by Georg, Sailer's soft-hearted son their age, must also deal with lots of problems in the Lindner family (mainly max's ma's frustration, sister Lindy and her darling 'fatherless' kid-son Florian) and their own bumpy love-lives plus some shorter story lines.
- A different kind of end of work: the patrol car ran out of gas. Hubert and Staller argue on the bus about who is to blame for the dilemma when a cow blocks the road. Hubert drives away the stubborn animal with a warning shot. The bus driver discovers the glow of a fire in the neighboring forest - has the cow fled from it? On site, Hubert and Staller make a gruesome discovery: what burns there are the remains of a person - and the culprit seems to be found quickly: The one-armed farmer Weidinger has hidden in the bushes and is immediately arrested. For Police Officer Girwidz, the gruesome find comes at a very inopportune time. His former supervisor, Police Director Schmitz from Dortmund, surprisingly announced his visit. Girwidz hopes that Schmitz, who is about to retire, is looking for a worthy successor and has already commissioned Sonja and Riedl to bring the area up to scratch. Hubert and Staller should also help to give Schmitz a fitting reception, but the two would rather push the case forward. The arrest of Weidinger gives Girwidz hope for a quick solution. But Weidinger does not confess, but claims that he was only looking for his missing cow Emma. With only one arm, he doesn't seem predestined for this murder. The fact that pathologist Anja Licht finds out that the corpse is a young woman who has been strangled doesn't help them at first either. Weidinger must be released. Hubert and Staller have to pick up Police Director Schmitz from the S-Bahn station. There is a momentous accident on the way there - a young man lands on the hood of the patrol car. Driver Hubert is in shock: It looks like the man tried to kill himself by jumping off the bridge and landed directly on her car. Or was there help with the jump? Anja Licht finds traces of blood that do not match the accident. Police advisor Girwidz is on the verge of collapse. Instead of one corpse, they now have two. Police director Schmitz turns out to be a very brazen parasite. And then there is the cow Emma, who, thanks to further traffic obstructions, is now advertised for a manhunt. Hubert and Staller are puzzled and have no idea that the threads come together in a bizarre pensioner flat share on a farm.
