Virginia Bagnato
- Actress
Virginia Bagnato was born in Uruguay on March 19, 1979. From an early
age she showed interest and a natural talent for singing, dancing and
acting; therefore, at the age of 8, her mother decided to enroll her in
dance classes in Vancouver, Canada. That was the start of many years of
intensive training, endless rehearsals, countless performances and
international competitions. Her training in dance includes ballet,
jazz, tap, hip hop and latin (salsa, merengue, cumbia).
Virginia was accepted into a school that consisted of a special program for kids professionally involved in an activity. This allowed her to dedicate more time to her already flourishing acting and dancing career. By the age of 18, Virginia had already appeared as an actress in various films starring with such renowned actors as Fred Savage and Charles Bronson, obtained various awards and prizes at international dance competitions and achieved "Dancer of the Year" award at an important dance competition in the U.S.A.
Now at age 24, she is the lead singer of a latin pop/salsa band performing for various renowned intitutions, corporate events, etc. As one of her most memorable moments she recalls the "Best Choreographer" award she obtained in 2001 at a national talent competition held in Uruguay (Carnaval).
