Let the record show that despite embodying one of the most well-known (and well-armed) protagonists in video game history, Final Fantasy VII’s stoic ex-soldier Cloud Strife,Cody Christian, does not carry around his own six-foot-long, one-foot-wide Buster Sword to solve his problems. No. Instead, the actor admits that he deals with the ebbs and flows of life and career in a much more humble way. “There’s [a] honesty and vulnerability that we see inCloud,”said Christian. “[And] I think they’re very powerful and relatable on such a human level. I’ve experienced things very much similar to what Cloud is going through in my real life. And I don’t wield the Buster Sword, and I’m not fighting Shrina to save the world. I’m similar in a lot of ways where I could put this tough look on. But the reality is if you talk to me,...

Briana Whitewould be lying if she said that sometimes carrying the weight of playing the iconic flower girl, Aerith Gainsborough, didn’t affect her at all. But miraculously, after metaphorically stepping into the character’s well-traveled leather boots these last four years from Final Fantasy VII Remake to its recent predecessor Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, she’s gained the strength to manage. “[It’s] really hard sometimes for me as an actor to let go of all the expectation and let go of what everyone might be thinking about or perceiving about a specific scene,” said White. “It’s one of the biggest challenges, but something that’s so crucial to the performance is being able to let go of everything outside the booth. I consider myself to be very resilient…I think that’s something Aerith [and I] have in common.”

Marvel Anime is back with a new movie, “Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher,” and it’s definitely a step up from their last outing that featured these two characters. Last seen in cameos in “Iron Man:Rise of the Technovore,” Black Widow and Punisher take center stage this time around in a search for the source of some high-tech weapons. The story starts with the Punisher (Brian Bloom) being interrupted by S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and Avenger Black Widow (Jennifer Carpenter) while interrogating an arms dealer. S.H.I.E.L.D. is trying to track the arms dealer’s employers and the Punisher just wants him dead after he gets the information he needs. Needless to say, his approach doesn’t sit well with Nick Fury (John Eric Bentley), and they end up arresting him. Fury decides they will use Punisher’s intel to find...

Rarely does the team get to interact with the victim in their cases, and have the victim actually interact back. But in this case, they might have been better off if the intended victim, Doc Dugan (Craig Bierko) were actually dead. At the very least, he'd have been less annoying. Doc Dugan is a former football quarterback who was once an amazing athlete, and now he suffers from has-beenitis. He's still mega popular, however, and maybe not in a good way because outside his bar, his SUV blows up… with him inside. Team Lisbon (Robin Tunney) arrives and Jane (Simon Baker) seem to be the only one there who doesn't know (or care) about who Dugan was. There is a charred body in the car, but it's burnt beyond recognition. After interviewing the two guys who kept Dugan going, his agent Sudko (Christopher Gartin) and his manager Penn (John Eric Bentley...

EMPs and shootouts and moles, oh my! Hey, hey 24, you're going to go out in style, aren't you? After several missteps and boredom and scenes we've seen a million times before, the writers have stepped it up another notch and brought back the thrill. Our geeky gal Friday, Chloe, got to step out of her office shoes once again and this time she wasn't kidding around! Jack continued to sniff out the enemy like a bloodhound, came up with crafty plans when everyone around him had given up, and survived yet another personal attack. I'm pretty sure our boy is indestructible -- maybe Starbuck got him a contract with the Cylons? I'll bet he'd have made a hell of an addition to the fleet.
CTU is crazed dealing with the aftermath of the Emp bomb. Hastings, Chloe and Arlo discuss the status of the drones and of the downed CTU communication and satellite systems.
