Italian-American New York City actor and playwright Robert Glaudini made his film debut inLa mortadella (1971)(aka "La mortality" ). Glaudini starred in two offbeat experimental features for underground independent filmmakerJon Jost:as the seedy private investigator "Frank Goya" inAngel City (1977)and the titular scuzzy drug dealer inChameleon (1978).Glaudini gave a solid and engaging performance as edgy hero "Dr. Paul Dean" in the futuristic 3-D science fiction-horror flicParasite (1982).He was effectively nasty as the evil magician "DelGatto" inThe Alchemist (1983).
Other memorable cinematic roles are scientist "Dr. Wolf" in the quirky science fiction sleeperWavelength (1983),sleazy wrestling promoter "Dr. Tweed" inGrunt!
