Laurie Goode was born in Windsor, UK, in 1945. His parents came
from Hackney, East London.
In his late teens, he became involved in photographic modelling. Top fashion guru/entrepreneur John Stephen had his staff employ Laurie for countless photo sessions. Other organisations began to hire him for advertising campaigns. Featured roles in TV commercials followed.
In the early 1970s, he played bass guitar in a London band called Uproar. Soon after, he undertook speaking roles for film and TV directors John Dexter and Viktors Ritelis.
He has written for David McGillivray's company, The Entertainment Machine, and his work has been performed at The Edinburgh Festival. He has also written for Mick Carling's video company, UXB.
