Clark Carmichael

Clark is best known as Dean Masters on the first season of House of
Cards and Connor Riley, the Irish hit man on Gotham. He grew up splitting time between
Kansas City, Missouri with his mother and summers with his father
in Corning, Iowa. His parents divorced when he was very young. He found a love of theatre at North Kansas City High School where he also played baseball and tennis. He graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S.
in Speech and a major in Theatre. Later he received a M.F.A for the
University of Missouri-KC in acting and directing. At Northwestern, he
was a varsity saber fencer. His senior year, he qualified for the NCAA
Championship, was co-MVP of the team and was named the May Court
Outstanding Senior Athlete. He did two national tours with The Acting
Company appeared on Broadway in Tom Stoppard's Jumpers and is a company
member at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. He has been married
for twenty years to his college sweetheart. They have two children and
live in the New York area.
