Ray Roman, a native of San Diego, California, was born in 1987 with an unwavering passion for the art of filmmaking. Around the age of 10 television programs such as the WWE formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation, The Tom Green Show (1999), and Jackass (2000), inspired Ray to creatively entertain his family and friends. His journey in the world of entertainment began when he started accompanying his sister, Brittney 'Lia' Roman, both in the studio and on tour as she embarked on the Los Angeles S.E.A.P. School Tour as a promising music artist.
As Ray honed his skills, he ventured into creating captivating short-form documentaries, music videos, and DVD packages for the talented female pop-trio, Bittersweet, under the guidance of esteemed RK Records CEO, Jay Pugh aka Grand Master Jay. This experience opened doors for Ray, leading him to film behind the scenes at the renowned 2007 Calibash Concert held at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Ray's love to help create and showcase new music artist extended beyond Bittersweet. He also directed music videos for Abrina and the rock band Monkey's In Space, showcasing his commitment to collaborating with diverse artists across various genres.
In 2013, Ray joined forces with David Kano, the host of The Hollywood MMA Show, taking on roles as a producer, videographer, and editor. This partnership offered Ray remarkable opportunities to work closely with prominent mixed martial arts (MMA) promotions, including UFC, Bellator, World Series of Fighting, and the kickboxing organization, Glory. He's captured and edited both cage-side and backstage interviews with notable MMA fighters like Bas Rutten, Rashad Evans, Royce Gracie, and more.
