Stephanie Wash is a five-time Emmy and Peabody award-winning television producer. As an executive editorial producer with ABC News, Stephanie strategizes and manages bookings for the network's top talent for ABC and Hulu programming. She also develops stories, writes, and produces content for all news platforms.
Stephanie has extensively covered a wide range of stories for ABC including: the social unrest following the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks, Freddie Gray, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, and shooting of Jacob Blake; the mass shootings in Las Vegas, Parkland, and Pulse Nightclub; numerous hurricanes including Harvey, Dorian, and Sandy; the Manchester concert bombing; Brussels Airport attack; soccer team rescue in Thailand; the Jussie Smollett investigation; Casey Anthony trial, and multiple presidential elections. Stephanie has co-produced specials with President Barack Obama and Pope Francis, as well as A&E Network's "Shining A Light: Conversations on Race in America," where she worked closely with guest correspondent Pharrell.
In 2016, Stephanie was part of the award-winning team to receive a Murrow Award for ABC News' Baltimore riots coverage following the Freddie Gray decision.
Stephanie is a native of Braintree, Massachusetts and resides in the Los Angeles area. She earned a B.A. in Print Journalism and Africana Studies from New York University.
